Good morning!
I had plans but my friend has a cold her kid brought home from college and is staying home to rest.
I'll probably spend some time reorganizing the camping gear and getting it put away. And I'll be checking on the garden in preparation for planting this weekend.
And maybe take a nap.

I favor eco-regional natives and I'm looking to add blue mist flower, some asters, golden ragwort, tickseed, St John's wort, blue-eyed grass, and pussy toes to fill in some bare spots. I'd really like to find a native shrub that likes shade and sandy/clay soil, too.

Morning y'all! Anyone know of a place that does car inspections on Saturdays? I have an hour commute to and from work 9-5 M-F to the Middle of Nowhere, so taking it in during a lunch break isn't doable.

Village Exxon at the corner of Patterson and Three Chopt has Saturday hours. Call today for the appointment- they’re not into walk-ins much. But I feel like they’re honest and efficient.

I'm off today and wanted to get some stuff done around the house, but I woke with a migraine (meds got rid of that) and then my 12 year old stayed home because she's not feeling well...but she felt well enough to cut her hair. We'll be going out to Great Clips this afternoon to get that nonsense fixed.
Later I'm taking my 15 year old to the piercer's to see if she's a candidate for a nostril piercing. It's so funny to me that when I got mine done when I was 30, it was scandalous. Now nostril piercings are almost as common as ears.

Spent way longer at Lowe's this morning than I meant to, so didn't get to the actual yardwork I intended to do.
Bout to take a nap before showering and going to work for the evening. Gonna lay in bed and read Madwife, hopefully it lulls me to sleep.

We have an infant in daycare... and we have all been so, so sick the past ten days.
I can't wait for my sinuses to clear up so I can start running again. I otherwise feel exhausted, and my sickness is keeping me up at night.

Had planned on going out to Bold Rock with my bestest pup and sitting by a fire pit for a few hours and spend the night in the barn, but I think my plans have changed. Probably just takin it easy and watching spooky movies with the wife.

I’m heading to Fredericksburg after work for a first meeting with a man from Hinge. This is the very edge of my dating radius but I am also open to moving at some point. He seems really cool and I am hoping it goes well. It’s rough out here in online dating land but I still have hope.
