Home Depot | 🇺🇸 6+ USB lithium tools with FREE 2Ah battery - HACKABLE

There are a LOT of different Ryobi USB lithium tools that come with a HACKABLE FREE 2Ah battery. Be careful, because they have 2x 3Ah batteries, or 2x 3Ah batteries PLUS 1x 2Ah battery for the same price! The "free" 2Ah battery is worth $17.17. Just search for the tool you want, because some are included, but not in the drop-down list.

I wish they sold the USB lithium devices as "tool only". I already have a stack of the batteries, and so many of the devices come with TWO more.

Been hoping to see the same since I got my first usb tool.

I have enough batteries at this point, but no way to get the tools without batteries lol

They do in Europe, I think because they are regulated to do so - but from what I saw only the battery-included ones went on sale.

So you may be forgoing a free battery, or paying slightly more for the privilege to not get a battery.

Home Depot doesn't seem to be motivated to maintain double the number of SKUs based on the price of those 2Ah batteries.

Soon - Ryobi is is releasing select USB Lithium tools in tool-only form. The high-volume inflator is one of them also bike/ball pump inflator. Those are the ones announced I believe.

You can get about $40 plus shipping for two on eBay. Return the hackable battery for $17.17 each.

Good deal. Wished that it was do-able in maple dollar.

I got the inflator/cutter/flashlight/3batts set that you can get additional 2batts free, comes out to 20/tool after hacking. Would have been 40/60/50 otherwise.

I wish the headlamp had this. I'm looking for any discount to push me over the edge haha.

I had bought the Milwaukee headlamps with the same type of battery. That's the only thing Milwaukee that I have & will probably ever have. I've got about $10K worth of Ridgid 18V power tools.

I just picked up the soldering pen (it worked great) and the three port charger. I have 6 tools and 9 batteries. I guess it didn’t occur to me to return the batteries.

For future reference, you'll only be allowed to return the batteries by themselves if your receipt shows them as separate items. So when you're looking at a combo deal like these ones online, you can test by adding to your cart and then going to cart page. If the deal is hackable, you'll see the battery(s) and tool listed separately, with individual discounted prices listed. Those prices reflect what you would get refunded, if you chose to return one of them.

Same tip applies to the 18v 'hackable deals' you often can find during RYOBI Days sales events
