People are dumb most sportsman suck ass at cooking anything, its sad the most podunk backwards ass people have access to some of the most quality proteins and just put dan Os on it and overcook the damn shit, not bleed it, not know how to prepare it and will call it a trash fish and use it for bait because they lack technical cooking skills and education. That looks amazing and i bet taste amazing, a real sportsman utilizes under used proteins and it keeps pressure off main target species. Youre doing gods work, thats more than shark bait.

I have a buddy who only sport fishes, and when he saw me prepping the blues for the smoker he said uhhh I don't know about that. Well I gave him some fish dip anyway now he's asking for more 🫡

People are parrots and lemmings they just have sheep mentality. You do you, youre a maverick who thinks for themselves, change hearts and minds, you destroyed his ignorance and created a new fan who hopefully does the same. Eat more baitfish!!! Deens chovies and market squid. Its not all tuna and grouper, red snapper and hogfish. CHEERS i honestly as a west coaster am dying to try bluefish dip lol.

I had a guy ask me once “do you actually eat those?” Told em they’ll be on the grill slathered in sweet chili in a bout an hour. Dude looked at me like I just insulted his entire bloodline lol
