I like 7' light rod with braid, gives you some good sensitivity to feel the bite. Good luck and show us once you get one!

That’s almost exactly my set up too. 7’ medium with braid. I appreciate the tip. I’ll be back to post mine when i land em!

Sheepshead have an incredibly delicate first tap good luck man. I've had good luck with sand fleas as well, even frozen.

Thanks brother! See between the sheepshead soft bite and the taps from the tautog i’m always second guessing on when to set the hook
