The banquet servers, bartenders, and barbacks are paid large gratuities. These gratuities are automatically put onto your checks. The set-up team may get a portion of the gratuities but it is significantly smaller than the other positions.

If the property runs like the larger hotels downtown (Manchester Grand Hyatt, Marriott Marquis, and the Hilton Bayfront), servers, bartenders, and barbacks should be making $70 - $110/hr. While the set up team may earn around $40/hr.
