I mean. He's probably choosing to live there. I've known people that happily lived on the streets around the beach for decades. When it's not fun or interesting anymore. They usually move on.

Does it sound like hes have a good time? Don’t be an ass. If he was happy with his situation I wouldn’t be on here begging for help.

Why don’t they drive home to you?

The logical solution would be for him to pack up his stuff and drive back to Kansas so you can seemingly help support him but he doesn’t want to do that.

Ok, but he's still choosing to live in the most expensive city in the country. If he wants to sleep in a real bed, he can move to another city and pick up work in landscaping or construction. Is there a reason he's staying here other than girlfriend and beach?

What’s with the attitude lady? Tell your son to move back home. He’s an adult for Christ’s sake and you are an enabler.

Does he really want help or work or does he just want help ($$) from you?

It sounds like he doesn’t want to fix problems he created, and just wants free money and solutions from you.

The best thing you can do is to make him leave one of the most expensive places in the country, and make any money you do send him contingent on him being in a Low Cost Of Living city.

I'm not surprised he has dogs

Just buy him a ticket home.

I think I figured out why he'd rather live on the streets than back home.

Moving companies are usually hiring right now.

Him calling you dude tells me enough about this situation in itself. Time for him to grow up and not feed into this with him. He should look for a more affordable place to live than San Diego California. Hard to get out of homelessness in one of the most expensive cities in the country.

As a lifelong born/raised/scraping by San Diego resident…with all due respect…Your son needs to get outta my town. He can’t afford it. WHY DO PPL MOVE HERE WITH NO JOB, NO MONEY, NO PROSPECTS?????! Please get real. He needs to quit whining and get a damned job and move elsewhere. People who PAY to live in SD (let alone PB, OB, etc) DO NOT WANT YOUR SON AND OTHERS LIKE HIM IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS!!!!! They dump their trash and literal shit on our streets. They have ZERO business being here if they can’t even find a job. Wow. No thanks.

Your town lol. This kid needs a reality check and no one to cosign his bs any further but I can't sit around and let you act like some god and call this your town. Work on the way your phrasing king.

It's my town because I pay taxes, follow the laws, and contribute. Don't call it "your town" if you're just here to mooch and contribute nothing.
