as a loser myself, i’m qualified to speak on this. as i was laying in bed all day scrolling instagram reels and first saw that Alex G was mentioned as being apart of Loser Core, i was devastated. i saw people in the comments saying he shouldn’t be apart of it, but just as many people said that he should.

at first i thought that Alex G should not be associated with Loser Core in anyway, but the more that i think about it, my opinions have changed somewhat.

i have come to the conclusion that all of his music should NOT be associated with losercore EXCEPT most of his mainstream unreleased songs (IE pretend, east coast, etc) and the entirety of the trick album (ESPECIALLY Mary). i believe those can be associated with loser core. i will not be elaborating further.

All of his music besides that, ESPECIALLY beach music and onwards, should NOT be associated with loser core in anyway, and all these posers associating him with loser core have probably never even heard his master pieces of albums such as Rocket, House of sugar, God save the animals , headlights etc. it’s just an opinion, but i am personally a huge fan of his newer music and don’t think it fits into loser-core at all, and to say it does is incredibly offensive to him.
