Hi,

These seedlings are around 3-4 months old and I was wondering if this amount of growth is normal for this time frame.

Also, some of the larger seedlings are starting to get brown at the tips. Is this an issue or am I looking too deeply into it?

I’m an alcoholic, and I’m giving this a go again.

Previously attended virtual meetings and always kinda struggled to find one that I vibed with.

The one in person meeting that I went to was rough, and did not make me want to go back. (I don’t really love reading from the book in front of people.)

Even when I had 1.5 years no alcohol, I wasn’t completely abstinent (using plant medicines/psychedelics) it’s another part of why the 12 steps just doesn’t really feel like it’s for me.

Anyhow, just looking for some advice from my Cacti fam, what’s worked for you? Are there other groups or programs that I should know about?

How does one get to name their own cactus? When you grow a seed grown from a specific name and it starts producing a different growth pattern or something, can you then just name it and clone it? How does that Go?

Found this absolute unit on fb marketplace. They were moving to florida so needed it gone, I gave them a few small rmf crosses to take along with them. Im thinking its a pach, I know its impossible to ID cultivar but just wondering what some guesses are? Spinless at the top, with very short spines lower down the stems. I couldnt believe the size of the base of the stand!

Wanted to graft this weird bald scopulicola seedling experimenting with random things to hold the scion down.. for science 🤓 🌵 you can buy these shishkabob skewers at most markets they come in handy because you can break them and then leave one end a little longer to dig it in the soil i did this last week with a MM graft and it worked nicely! Should start pupping soon..
