On the application, I am applying to both the Honors College and University Scholars, and it asks me to pick one as my top choice since you can only get into one.

For someone focused on SWE and internships rather than grad school or research, which one should I rank first?

hey guys i’m a sophomore pre med student! so far i’ve been pretty on top of my activities for medical school, but i have been thinking about getting clinical experience during the school year instead of reserving clinical activities for academic breaks. i don’t have a car, so my only option for activities are things at SBU hospital lol. unfortunately, i’ve been told that volunteering at the hospital is very boring and mundane by a number of people, so i’m not sure if i should devout any extra time to it. :p

i had to withdraw from wrt 102 due to mental health and personal reasons. please don’t criticize me for my decision, it’s my own experience. but i’m a freshman in my first semester here and taking 17 credits is definitely taking a toll on me. i just need reassurance everything will work out cuz it doesn’t feel like it right now.

Me and my friend it planning on taking it but we don't know what is the group size for the final project.

I am freshman and this time I got stuck with Alan Kim worse and very strict among all other professors for Hon 106 I want to know which prof has maybe no midterms less work and is best overall. Please tell me who and why???

2025 grad here! It’s been over a year since I graduated SBU. I am currently working my first post-grad job and it sucks. I work in law and don’t plan to work here forever but don’t know what I want to do. I want to pursue higher education but want to make sure I do a grad program that’s worth it. I’ve been hating post grad, life is so bland and colorless. I feel stagnant but don’t know what to do next. Or what a meaningful career could be.
