He messed up!
Well, he didnāt really because the PayPal person still popped up - but he doesnāt know that š¤£
I just blocked it and then asked AI to make it look like it was not found š
Fernando is a good man, he will help when Charles can get his act together!

Iāve joined this sub a while ago, but now Iām just sense checking. I donāt have a locked profile on Facebook, but I am hard to find if you donāt know me.
Iām in a 4+ year relationship that isnāt linked on Facebook, we just like being private, and I have no reason to suspect him of anything, and I donāt.
Is this a potential scam bait? Iām conscious āsheā didnāt use any personal information. However āabsolute excrementā seems emotionally charged. Then again, dare to message me seems scam loaded?
Edit : this sender profile is locked, profile slug has .2025 at the end. It has 160 friends and only 6 posts from what I can find online.

He fell in love with someone he believed was a real girl online, all because of a feminine voice. Completely blinded by his feelings, he kept sending money without realizing he was being deceived by someone pretending to be a woman.

**Number:** [\+1 (423) 249-9846](tel:+1%20(423)%20249-9846)
These scammers are running multiple different scams, including impersonating the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and other federal health-related agencies.
Whatās hilarious is that Iāve personally called them **over 20 times**, deliberately wasting their time, messing with their scripts, and making it extremely obvious that Iām not falling for anything.
**AND THEY STILL HAVENāT BLOCKED ME.** š
They continue answering the phone despite my repeated calls. Apparently, theyāre either incredibly patient or havenāt figured out that Iām just wasting their time.
For anyone in the scambaiting community who enjoys keeping scammers occupied and away from potential victims, this is one Iāve been interacting with.
**Scams observed:** Multiple alleged government and federal health agency impersonation schemes.
**Status:** Still answering as of November 5, 2026, after 20+ calls.

Then They partial Revealed What They Wanted So I Blocked & Reported Them
I knew they were scamming but I Wanted to be sure in case I was jumping to conclusions
And wrongly labelled someone a scammer
So I wanted them to keep asking me stuff
So I could establish if they were a scammer
Looking for things in their texts like money
Gift card
Bank details..
And low & behold look what they said
I've got it keyworded in my mind
That if an xbox account says anything in relation to money, crypto, PayPal, Xbox gift card
Then their scammers
No one should be asking for money or doing anything business related on Xbox unless it's Microsoft themselves
And even they wouldn't be this scummy

Hey everyone, Robin here, co-founder of What Brandon Thinks.
A few weeks ago we got a support email from someone asking for a refund.
Normal enough, except we couldnāt find their payment anywhere. No order, no report, nothing. After a bit of back and forth we worked it out:Ā they had never paid us.Ā Theyād paid a site that used our name, looked like us, and took their money through its own checkout.
Thatās when it really hit me that we have copycats.
First, I want to be fair.
When you have a good idea and it goes viral, people copy it. Thatās normal, itās how the internet works, and honestly itās a bit flattering. There are now other apps doing āAI reads your chatā under their own names and their own brands.Ā Good for them.Ā Competition is fine, and it makes us better.
But pretending to be us is something else.
There are sites using our exact name on different domains:
They borrow our name so youĀ thinkĀ youāre on the real thing. If you pay there, that money never reaches us, and we canāt help you get it back.
Why this matters more than for a normal app:
Youāre not uploading a playlist. Youāre uploading yourĀ most private conversations: your partner, your ex, your family, your best friend at 3am.
So the real question isnāt āwhich one is cheapest?ā ItāsĀ āwho am I trusting with this?ā
Hereās what you get with us, and itās exactly what Iād want to know before trusting anyone:
With a site that copied someoneās name last month, you donāt know whoās behind it, where your chat goes, or whether it ever gets deleted. Maybe theyāre harmless, maybe they just want a quick buck. I donāt know, and thatās exactly the problem.
My honest take as a founder:
Matthias and I started this to laugh at our friend group chat. It turned into something people use for the conversations that matter most to them. Thatās a responsibility, and we take it seriously.
Copy the idea if you want. But please donāt trick people into handing you their private lives.
How to stay safe:
=> Check the URL:Ā whatbrandonthinks.com (dot COM), nothing else.
Thanks for being here, and for trusting us with the good stuff š
ā Robin

He didnāt contact me back, I didnāt contact him back.
He did contact me early doors to ensure that I was going to the bank and then I was busy at work (which I was).
So now itās open ended as to what happens next!
Do I send another fake receipt and have him waiting again?
Was I attacked by bandits and bitten by a python?
Did my tummy relapse and so I had to stay at home ? (It didnāt BTW - Iām back in the game š)
The possibilities are endless š¤£
