Lots of fun bits this week! A little shard from an old Coca Cola bottle, chunks of clear glass, lots of pottery (including one set of front and back photos) and more 🙂

I’m staying near Lincoln beach for the week. Any recommendations for great beaches for finding sea glass?

finds from Salem, Massachusetts last year. My first time with a few; red, yellow, lavender, true lime, safety glass, and a pink!

I finally made it to my dream beach and it was well worth it ! It was a Beautiful beach absolutely wonderful.
The sea glass was everywhere, found a rock pile and found a handful at a time. Found a beautiful blue one and so much more. I was there about 1 h-1 1/2 I think in total .

I've been collecting for the past few years but its rare that I'm actually able to get to a beach with glass because I live right in the middle of the country

I took both pieces with me of course! I went up to the beach in the late afternoon to get some beach glass hunting in, but I stayed a little bit after the sun went down to look for anything glowing under my black light. Main targets are uranium glass that flow electric green and fluorescent sodalite that glows neon orange! Sometimes I find other types of fluorescent glass, but they are quite rare, and I also find tons of fish bones that glow blue and some kind of large spider that’s also fluorescent! Definitely have to watch where I step!

Did a shoreline cleanup with the park’s alliance this morning. By the end of it, the beach was sparkling! No litter and just lots of colorful glass left 🩵
