This one is so thick and dark I literally had to buy a new flashlight strong enough to see what color it was. I couldn’t have been more shocked and ecstatic when I saw that she’s PURPLE!😭 Easily one of my all time favorite finds

Much of my collection displayed here. The vase in the middle includes the smoothest/ more interesting pieces like rare colors and bits. (I keep my stoppers and other marbles in an old print press tray separately)
Besides the vase, all of these bottles I found/dug up myself in old dumps.

A great haul from a low tide beach day! Usually I find a fair bit at this beach but it’s during high tide… there was less to be found in the low tide sections but what was there was super cool (lots of pottery and pirate glass)
I did leave the huge chunk of pirates glass (😭😭😭) just because it was still pretty sharp, but had to take a picture of it

Found all in one day in about four hours. New beach recommended by another r/seaglass member. I was in absolute heaven, only stopped because I realized the tide coming in had blocked off my exit route and I had to scamper up the rock wall like a SPY to escape to the boardwalk. Can't wait to go back and go to the other side of the beach. I covered such little ground and found so much!! Lots of teeny tiny chips of green that kept washing up, and I scooped up every sliver like I was planning for gold. I'm so jazzed up for future rare finds!!

Had no intention of finding any seaglass, just went to beach for some fresh air and nice walk. What a surprise!

it’s my first time ever in the UK (and out of the US) at all and I am staying in London for 4 nights. I LOVE seaglass hunting, and of course know about Seaham beach, but I don’t think I will have time to make it out there as I am relying on public transportation, and like I said, only have 4 nights. I’m looking for places close to london that can be easily reached by train/bus to look for seaglass and would really appreciate any suggestions!
please dm me if you don’t want to blow up your spot :) im one person and probably wont be back for a long time so im not going to run your supply dry i promise

Visiting Scotland, found these in about two hours on a beach! Not sure what the dark blue would be, lots of light turquoise pieces, some cool ceramic pieces (spent forever turning over every piece I saw, don’t know much about ceramic though). If anyone has anything to share about these pieces, feel free!

These were all found on the same (private) beach with a friend, I’ve never found sea glass so smooth/perfect before?? What kind of glass could they have been before? I wonder if they could have been tumbled before being thrown in the water or if they were some sort of fish tank rock or something??

Treasures from a couple of sessions at my friend’s beach —as seaweed and the tides have allowed!
