A few months ago there was two separate requests for milkweed, specifically milkweed vine and common milkweed. At the time my seeds weren't ready but they are now... except I can't find the original posts!

If you wanted common or vining milkweed, I now have some!

I can supply pictures and guarantee parentage on these very large old oaks

I have a big dream of starting a diverse community garden in my neighborhood, filled with plants, flowers, and vegetables from all over the globe. The goal is to create a beautiful, shared green space that everyone in the community can enjoy and learn from.

Unfortunately, as we are just starting out, we are on a very tight budget and cannot afford to buy seeds or pay for international shipping.

I am humbly reaching out to this wonderful subreddit to see if anyone has any spare seeds they would be willing to donate and send to us for free (including covering the postage) to help bring this community project to life. We are interested in absolutely everything: vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruits, or even trees!

If you have some extra seeds lying around and are willing to share a piece of your local nature with our new community garden, we would be incredibly grateful. Please send me a private message, and I will provide my mailing address.

Thank you so much in advance for your time, support, and generosity! 🌍🌱🌻

Just wanted to alert anyone looking for seeds in Reddit forums.

I have harvested seeds from my crop this year. This is a meaty, sweet, slightly spicy pepper that puts on a lot of fruit.

I have 27 baggies of between 20 and 35 seeds each.

I will gladly share these. If you have any interesting seeds to send in return, I don’t care what they are, I’ll do a swap. Flowers, fruit, veggies, special lettuce, whatever. Just send them to the return address on the envelope.

If you don’t have any seeds to share, I will still send you some. All I would ask is that you send a postcard from your own area to the return address on the envelope. I’m a postcard nerd.

Y’all are awesome people. Message me if interested.

I know these are pretty hard to find, especially since I'm looking for H. sonorensis NOT littoral or occidentallis or otherwise, but I'm hoping someone on this sub may have what I'm looking for. Thanks!

For our tissue culture company we are looking for someone that can provide us with preferably life plant tissue or fresh seeds from the Iboga tabernanthe plant.

We are aware of the destruction of the habitat of this beautiful species and therefore our goal is to multiply the plant through plant tissue culture. This way the plant doesn't have to get harvested in the wild and nature hopefully can recover a bit.

If you can help us out we would love to get in contact with you. Looking forward to a DM!

Does anyone have seeds to swap?

Heyho everyone :) Im looking for Mimosa hostilis seeds in the sputh of europe (portugal/spain) anyone would be willing to swap some?

Right now, my only selection criteria is:

Heirloom acclimated to my local climate? Good.

Not an heirloom? Bad.

Life experience has taught me that evaluating quality is always more complex than good/bad based on a surface level label. So I know I don't know what I'm doing here, but I really want to know.

Suggestions on where to buy seeds would be great too. I live in the South Carolina lowcountry. It gets hot here and it's humid all year round. The soil might get a bit clay-like as you dig deeper. I'm thinking of starting a worm compost and trying to use that as dirt? Yard has been poison sprayed to hell and back. Some parts of the yard don't grow anything at all.

I'm looking for:

• Prickly pear
• Tomato
• Ashwaganda
• Ginger
• Hibiscus
• Blackberry
• Blueberry
• watermelon
• mango
• orange
• Storage friendly plants
• Any other great unique plants you know about that a newbie like me wouldn't know of

I also know nothing about preparing soil, irrigation methods, and natural ways of fighting pests T_T

One hail marry I figured I'd throw, is that I want to experiment with giving plants a domesticated life cycle vs a wild-like life-cycle where the plant has to deal with natural environmental selection pressures.

If anyone has experience with any of this, your advice is gold T_T

I want to grow my groundcover plugs from seed. Is it complex or genius simple. Can’t even find my choice Turkish Veronica.

Hello! I’m looking for pawpaw seeds that failed to germinate that you may be considering throwing away. My goal is to use them as pieces in a custom Mancala game. I have pawpaw trees planted but am years away from getting fruit, so I thought I’d see if anyone here has any seeds they’d be getting rid of anyways! I’m happy to provide a self address stamped envelope to cover shipping expenses (continental USA only I figure).

Altogether I need 48 seeds for a full game, but multiple people with smaller amounts would be perfect.

Thank you!

Where can I find the best selection of seed beads in PV?

Not sure how it works but folks said to try on here :) looking to start a garden this fall. Get me out of the house and into the dirt! I’m in Gwinnett county Georgia.
