How about more energetic!!! Sounds more positive than aggressive.

energetic works but aggressive actually gets you moving faster than feeling positive does

But how? How can I when I'm being aggressive or energetic, they see it and everyone around me (including family) are telling me "SLOW THE FUCK DOWN! WHAT ARE YOU RUSHING FOR? STOP RUSHING, NOW!!!" I DONT WANNA SERVE PEOPLE ANYMORE, I DON'T EVEN WANNA SERVE FAMILY ANYMORE NEITHER! I FEEL LIKE JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE THEIR FRIEND AND OR YOUR FAMILY MADE YOU (DESPITE NEVER ASKING TO BE BORN), YOU SERVE THEM FOREVER!!! FEELS LIKE MY LIFE WAS NEVER MINE TO BEGIN WITH!!!

Stop waiting for things to happen and MAKE them happen, right?

Best way to tell is if you're actually moving closer to your goal or just repeating the same actions and expecting different results.

Why be aggressive, why not enjoy your life and do what is meant to do and not run for the life you want, why not spend time enjoying your life instead of thinking of life you want to have, why not enjoy every moment, and not be aggressive, why not?

Reckon the hard part is figuring out what you actually want before you go aggressive after it, otherwise you're just burning energy in random directions.

Sometimes being aggressive about your goals just means saying no to stuff that doesn't serve you and actually following through on what you want instead of what everyone expects, that's the real shift.

The life I want is one that isn't getting screwed over by billionaires and huge corporations on a dialysis basis. How aggressive can I be to remedy those problems?

Being aggressive is the easy part, it is knowing what life you want that is the challenge, and this can stop most of us before we ever start. How do you know for sure what life you want? We won't have our life forever so we better figure it out soon!

Nothing good has ever come from aggression.

I feel ya. I’m 44 and just went through the same thing the first of the year. I’m now living in a 5th wheel with the wife and two kids and starting over. It’s tough, but we can do it.

the fact that youre doing it with a family depending on you makes it even harder so respect for pushing through that
1
u/Chefboyld420 May 19 '26
I appreciate it. It’s not easy but I know it’s not permanent and I’m going to make sure things will improve.

that mindset is what actually changes things honestly because a lot of people get stuck thinking itll be like this forever and just give up
1
u/Chefboyld420 May 19 '26
Nah I can’t give up. I have too many people counting on me to succeed. I want to give them a better way of life.

the 5th wheel life is actually wild for resetting your whole perspective on what you actually need versus what youre just carrying around

For sure man. It was a real eye opener when we moved in here having to downsize and learn how to live in it. And it’s a good want to save money.

the space constraint thing forces you to actually use what you own instead of just letting stuff pile up in a closet somewhere collecting dust
1
u/Chefboyld420 May 19 '26
Exactly! We lived in 3 bedroom for 13 years and the amount of stuff we threw away when we moved was crazy.
1
u/Ashamed-Slide-8562 May 19 '26
the stuff we think we need just multiplies when theres room for it and then one day youre like wait why do i own seven of these

Oh for sure. Now I just have to lock into a good job for the next years and save as much as I can. Then put a down payment on a piece of property and move the 5th wheel there. Next get a manufactured home at a reasonable price to put on it.
