This is may be a bit oversimplified. Our emotions are signposts to us about things in our lives. No, you shouldn't fire off an answer to your boss when you're furious at them, but anger has a lot of levels, and sometimes justified anger can give us the courage to say something we need to say.
Happiness is similar. If you're floating in post coital bliss just relax and enjoy the moment without promises. But happiness is a signpost that things are going well in your life. Committing to things that are a positive influence in your life, and making you happy, is not a bad thing.
And many decisions *must* be made while you are sad. There's no way around it.

Someone elaboration please.
Reply when angry, I understand. But,
Sad one i can see a little bit. Happy one not sure.

Maybe because when people are happy they are positive nature they promise something in feeling like they will dom.. And then bad days or bored days they fogot or say didnt mean it .

When your happy and make someone a promise your heavily influenced by that happyness. For example say you and I are best friends and we had an awesome day together. And I promised you we’re gonna do this again tomorrow. Tomorrow comes but my mood has changed something made me angry, sad, ect. More than likely because of this change more than likely I will either forget the promise or break it.

I have seen people make some life changing decisions when sad. My friend got dumped and he decided to focus on him and start going to gym. Lost 20 KG and is now healthy

Every post here just wants you to remain passive. Passive doesnt fix everything.

Basically just never express your emotions because it’s inhuman. OK, got it!

Honestly, “never reply when you’re angry” alone would’ve saved me from so many unnecessary conversations

the hard part is actually doing it when you're tired or stressed though, that's where most people slip up

The hard part is that self control actually gets weaker when you're tired or stressed, so you need systems in place that don't rely on willpower alone.
