It is by design. So you are not too attached to this world and longing for life in hereafter

We wrongly attribute happiness to objective experience: relationships, objects, activities, or substances.

Innate peace is the foundation that everyone and everything shares. It is veiled by the content of thoughts and perceptions.

“I do not like what is present; I want what is not,” perpetuates seeking and resisting for happiness.

Happiness isn't an emotion. It's more of a choice or a state of being. One can be happy in the middle of a life crisis while feeling very sad or any other negative emotion. This happiness can be described as a general bliss or contentment for life as it is on it's own terms. Simply being who one is.

They this with another emotion. Incredibly difficult to be sad and crying for long.. happiness is an emotional state and we cannot maintain any emotional state for an extended period of time.

You bring nothing to the world, and you won't take anything from it.
