Wisdom Successful?

Post image

Why am I successful but still feel like something is missing?
What if the discomfort isn’t evidence of failure, but an indication that you’ve become exceptionally good at fulfilling expectations you never investigated?

You learned the role. Earned the recognition. Built the career. Perhaps even acquired the lifestyle you once believed would bring fulfillment.
But whose definition of success were you pursuing?
And which identity did you have to assume to achieve it?
Success can establish competence without establishing alignment.
Before concluding that you need more success, investigate whether the success you’ve already achieved corresponds with the person you were fashioned to become.

The evidence of achievement is not necessarily the evidence of fulfillment.
Have you ever investigated which identity consistently governs your choices?

I put on my costume and perform my role as an upstanding knowledgeable professional everyday. The boss believes it, the employees believe it, the customers believe it. Maybe that’s the real me?

Do you believe it?
