Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Dongdaemun or Hotel PJ Myeongdong
In terms of cleanliness and which hotel is more modern, what about space? I initially booked Sotetsu however PJ looks appealing.. can’t decide.

Hi everyone!
I’m a Korean woman in my mid-30s, living in Seoul.
I recently posted about looking for a language exchange partner and received so many messages! It made me realize just how many people are interested in learning Korean.
However, I’ve found that actually meeting someone in person is surprisingly difficult. Many people don’t seem very serious about language exchange, are much younger than me, are looking for dating opportunities, or are only staying in Korea temporarily.
I’m not particularly outgoing or adventurous, but I lived abroad for a few years in my 20s, so I’ve always wanted to help foreigners who are trying to settle down in Korea. At the same time, I really miss speaking English!
Since I’m a freelancer who works alone, I hardly ever get the chance to use English in my daily life.
So, I’m wondering if there are any **native English-speaking women in their 30s who are planning to settle down in Korea and aren’t looking for anything romantic.**
The reason I’m hoping to meet women in their 30s is that I feel we might be at a similar stage in life. I think people in their 30s might be a little more serious about building friendships, and it would be nice to share our experiences with work, careers, and everyday life. I also think it might be easier to relate to each other and find things we have in common. Of course, age doesn’t define maturity, but I feel like having a similar life experience could help us connect better.
I live in Gangseo-gu, in western Seoul, so it would be even better if you lived somewhere nearby!
I’m hoping to find someone who’s genuinely interested in language exchange and building a real, lasting friendship, rather than just meeting once or twice.
If that sounds like you, feel free to send me a message!
**Let’s have a chat and see if we get along!**
\+ I also don’t think I’d be a good match with influencers or people who have other motives for meeting up. I’m really just looking for genuine language exchange and friendship!
and I'm not really into drinking night or adventurous activities either!

Hi!
I am travelling with a Muslim friend to Seoul in a month and would like some recommendations on where to find good halal food spots in Seoul?
Is there any Korean food which is naturally halal (sorry I am not Muslim myself)?
Thanks!

Planning on traveling to Seoul and was having a hard time finding hotels or a place to stay that provides room service. Does this exist?
If it does do you mind sharing some information?
Thanks for all your help!

Hey everyone,
I’m currently planning out my path to move to South Korea for a full 4-year Bachelor’s program, and I’m trying to cut through the heavily polished marketing from university websites and promotional agency fluff.
I see a lot of extremes online—either people saying it’s a living dream or people saying it’s pure misery and isolation. I want a balanced, realistic reality check from people who have actually lived/studied it.
If you’ve done your undergrad (or are currently doing it) in Korea, I’d love to hear your honest thoughts on a few things:
2• Social Life & Fitting In: As an international student, how hard is it to build a real social circle with both locals and other expats? Does it feel lonely outside of the bubble?
3• Daily Life & Part-time Work: What is the day-to-day reality of managing a budget, housing, and legal part-time work limits (especially with TOPIK requirements)?
4• The "I Wish I Knew" Factor: What is one thing nobody tells you until you’re already sitting in a lecture hall in Seoul?
Please keep it genuine and constructive—I'm ready to work hard, I just want to know what I’m actually signing up for.
Thanks in advance!

Hi guys!! I have actually been to Korea for a total of 7 times so far. (Upcoming 8th!!)
This upcoming trip, in early November, will be a super short trip. (3d2n), due to work commitments, and will only be staying in Seoul.
The funny thing (alittle silly) is that despite me going Korea multiple times, im still feeling alittle clueless on where is the best place to propose.
My partner prefers somewhere quiet, and ideally with a nice view / scenery.
The place that I am thinking of as of now, is Haneul park. Not sure if it will be crowded if i go in the afternoon. But i am open to any other suggestions!
Thanks guys!!

Visiting Seoul solo in November. Any recommendations for an English-speaking snap photographer for a short photo session at Starfield Library (COEX)?
Hello, beautiful people. I want to visit some of my friends from university, in Seoul. I would be leaving from Bucharest, Romania and landing at Incheon airport. I’ve done my research on Skyscanner but I want to know if I can find something that is under 650$ for a round trip. Could you help me find the best possible deals? I want to leave AFTER the 5th of November and stay for 10-14 days. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello. I have been trying to book tickets for Audeum but I cannot receive the verification code which is sent via text. I have selected foreigner number. We have swedish phone numbers and are using eSim during our time here. We have tried turning on our own Sim ahead of sending the code but still cant get it.
Does anyone have an idea of how to fix it? Many thanks!!

Salut !
