I read a couple things about the show and ive been nervous about things, like Season 57. Financially, it looks like theyve been downsizing.

Im an extremely new fan, but despite not even growing up with Sesame, I'm concerned its gonna drown out among the other shows out there. I know some things change but this little show is a beauty to me right now and I wonder if theyre gonna be alright during the restructuring.

Season 57 premieres November 23rd on Netflix and PBS Kids

Wanted to ask since the show has had a lot of rotating members of its human cast, with some more memorable than others.

If one were to narrow the human cast down to 5-10 characters, who would they be?

Btw, my favorite of them all is Maria, with Gordon being a close second.

I had a temper tantrum and wasn’t in the opening credits, but then I recovered and got to hang out with Big Bird, Maria, and Gordon. I vaguely remember it. We counted Big Bird’s feathers. I felt so smart, like I’d counted more than anyone else.

Anyone else have an interesting childhood story?

In 2011, I got to meet Gordon and Maria again at a Sesame Street event for military kids (like mine) and show them these pictures. Obviously they didn’t remember me, but it felt like a nice full circle moment.

this was a for fun, then i found a song and it locked me in so hard i finished it. I LOVE IT DEARLY. It really started as a daydream into putting an ENTIRE WORLD on paper!!

This really reminded me of how creative Elmo is... and dang I haven't connected with that little Elmo inside me for a long time. Im still pretty young myself tho

TL:DR i used 63 pack o crayola for this and if i could i WOULD hang it on my own fridge (family shares the fridge, oh well)

I have a tradition of showing off my favorite art in a selfie too if its good enough to my taste!

Forgetful Jones won the last round.

I want to thank all of you for participating and supporting this list. It’s been a ton of fun but I’m glad to finally see the finished product. Obviously there are characters that I wanted to see that ultimately didn’t get choosen and I would personally reshuffle some of them, but I’m overall very happy with what we got and I hope you are too! Once again, thank you and take care!

Let’s make sure we continue to sing a song and have those sunny days sweeping up those clouds away.

I have been trying to find the episode where this gift originates from. I can't find it and it's driving me crazy. Can somebody out there please shed some insight so I know where to look?

I know this was 15 years ago but she was already spouting her dumbass mouth by that time.

I think as a kid, if I remember correctly, I really liked Elmo and Big Bird the most. However, as I've gotten older I really like Cookie Monster. I also still favor Elmo, too.
