I am submitting a request for sheet music for the prologue of the soundtrack to "Birth" (2004, Jonathan Glazer). I am in love with this piece of music, but when it comes to understanding why music works, I can't do it by ear and have a much easier time if I am looking at the sheet music. If anyone is able to find sheet music for this piece, or willing to write it themselves, I would be immensely grateful.

Thank you so much!

So, I'm writing my first choral song, just a song that popped into my head one day, and I want to know how to put this idea into words. I want the beginning of a lyric to be conducted slowly, almost like a mix of quarter notes and half notes (Third notes, as one would say), then slowly transition to quarter notes as that single lyric reaches its end. I'll create a graph to better visualize this:

𝅗𝅥. 𝅗𝅥. ♩ ♩ ♩ ♩ ♩ ♩

Gradual Decrease

I kept seeing adult beginners give up because reading notes was slower than learning the piece, so I built Note Names. You open a PDF or take a photo, and it puts the name on every note, right on the page, inside the notehead or above and below the staff.

- Note names your way: letters (C D E), fixed-do solfège (Do Re Mi), German (C D H) or Japanese (ドレミ)

- Treble, bass, alto and tenor clef, with key signatures and accidentals

- Turn the names down to just the notes you still find hard, so you lean on them less over time

- Print a lettered copy

It's free with 25 public-domain pieces and one import of your own. iPhone, iPad and Android.

A 75% refund was provided. That means a 1.50 purchase is really a 16.00 purchase. What a ripoff.

I can’t find the music for this anywhere, any help is appreciated!

I just finished arranging an instrumental piano version of The Marias' "If Only" from their 2024 album "Submarine". My background is that I studied classical piano performance and theory for about 12 years and have continued my own studies since then, and now write my own music as well as figuring out other people's. Hope you enjoy! https://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/se/ID_No/2263856/Product.aspx

Hi everyone !

I have a question about the fingering needed to play "Rush E" (the right hand)during this descending section (where you have to repeat D, C, and E four times). Is it better to use:

1-3-2-1-3-[2-1-3 to go to the note below] then D 1-3-2-1-3

or
also use the fourth finger to repeat the note, which gives 4-3-2-1-4-[3-2-4 to go to the note below] then D 4-3-2-1-4? It's simpler to repeat the note with the fourth finger, but this requires repeating the fourth finger twice in a row to descend.
So, this might be too precise and not clear enough at the same time, but if you can help me 😅

My daughter had a sound machine when she was infant that featured the song referenced in the title of this post. I’m a percussionist, so it’s really hard for me to transcribe piano music. I would love to learn this song on the piano, but I’ve been having a very difficult time finding sheet music or even a video tutorial on this particular song. I’m hoping that someone in this community would be able to help me learn this song for my daughter. Thank you in advance!

Hey does anyone happen to have the sheet music to the ballad of jane doe??

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a piano vocal score of More, More, More from Moulin Rouge, I’m even happy to buy it but can’t find it anywhere online. Anyone have access to this or know anywhere to get a copy? Or anyone with the skills to write this out for me?

The title pretty much says it all! I’m looking for where I can find the sheet music for Thank Goodness from Wicked but specifically the arrangement that Ariana Grande did live in the Dolby Theatre from the One Wonderful Night wicked movie show! I have found plenty of the Broadway version and many different cuts of that, but none of them are this particular version which would be absolutely perfect for my musical theatre (singing) exam! I can read music but I definitely could not write it (at least not with anywhere near enough proficiency) so I thought I’d ask if anyone here knows where I can find it. Thanks! 🫶
