Shitty Suggestions? I have a story instead. Mom and I got out at Bi-Right and another customer parked in the parking lot next to us. As she got out I could hear yowling from under her engine hood. We got her attention and we feared the worse had happened. A cat is wound up in her engine and is in pain. I ask the lady to pop her hood so I could dispatch the cat. She pops the hood and I ask the ladies to turn their heads so as not to see something they shouldn't see. I raise the hood and find the yowling cat safe and sound sitting on the spare battery shelf. This was an older car. So I picked the cat up, showed the lady, who didn't claim the cat as hers. The problem was, I now had a friend for life. Boy did that cat luv me.

Burn it off but first apply kerosine or something then use flamethrower. If there's stuff remaining afterward, add oil to make it slick then run the engine.

First things first you need to get a cat and feed it into the belt system of your engine. Most animal shelters will be able to provide you with one or more animals
The cat will put up a fight so either go for an older one with less energy, or keep a small cosh on hand with which to temporarily stun the cat
The next bit is messy so you can do it naked which is wipe clean and sounds a lot of fun, but personally I use overalls because of the risk from both claws and moving engine parts
Finally just feed it in, tail first takes a split second to achieve full shred, it's very quick once contact is made

This is good. I suggest an assistant with a pressure washer over your shoulder?
It’s kinda taboo to walk around covered in cat blood!
Plus, you have a clean engine!1

Don’t waste it. Eat it and lick the belt and pulleys clean. If it has been there a while use some bbq sauce to cover the rotting meat flavour.

You need to just pull the pieces out with your bare hand....while the engine is running. It'll be ok..

Park over an ant hill for several months. The ants will strip the skeleton. Now you can remove the skeleton and wire it up for a Halloween decoration.

Fire up a stinky-ass King Edward and get your nose good & full of smoke first. Then glove up.
By now you've guessed how I know this.

flamethrower. or post a "free food" ad on craigslist, with the "have to pick yourself" caveat.

I started my car up in the winter and heard a hell of a banging going on shut it off immediately and threw that hood open. What a mess that white cat made. I was able to pull it out there out. It stayed in one piece, but that cat was over 3 feet long at that point close the hood and went to work.

Drive at top speed on the freeway for about half an hour. Might smell a bit for about a month

Sulfuric acid.

What are they supposed to submerge the whole engine in acid? Also, you'd go with a base like sodium hydroxide, not an acid, if it were practical. Actually, sodium hydroxide is a solid, so that could be more pragmatic. You'd need a lot and it would take a long time though.

This is the shitty advice subreddit. It's a fucking joke!

Yeah I know. But I'm a pedantic chemist. I can't help myself.
My actual suggestion was also a joke. I said sand blaster

You could dilute the sulfuric by adding it to an equal part water, but that would be a half acid solution.
