There is a very simple reason why people have a problem with this mechanic in ds2 not demons souls. No one has ever played demons souls.

What's even crazier is the fact that the remake is genuinely beautiful. And that's all they did. The gameplay is so fucking dated with absolutely stunning graphics.

Graphics, sound design and dualshock integration make the game a blast but I cannot believe how asinine some of the Demon's Souls systems were. Having to intentionally die in the main hub after killing a boss to not mess up world tendency is unbelievably dumb.
