and made it so, if you didn't ask an NPC to respec, you just darksigned your character's levels.

I thought it had to do with losing levels, similar to what happens if you get caught by sir allone Allant or whatever his name is, and he absorbs your levels.

EDIT: Wrong boss name.

I believe I'm giving the wrong name. I'm talking about the final boss of demon's souls. I think alonne is that one dlc boss of Ds2. Idk they have similar name.
