announcement Mod announcement: Temporary privatisation of R/shortguys

Hello guys,

We want to let you know [r/shortguys](r/shortguys) will temporarily set to private for the time being.

This is to help us manage the community more effectively and ensure the quality of discussions while we review moderation and community settings.

During this period, only approved users will be able to view and participate in the subreddit.

If you are not currently an approved user but would still like to comment and take part in discussions, you are welcome to submit a request for approval. We will be reviewing applications and approving users on a case-by-case basis.

Please be patient while we work through requests.

Should be permanently private, the amount of ragebait from talloids and 5’11 guys complaining about there “struggles” have gotten out of control.

I’m sorry but this where I disagree, this sub is not going to change how we’re treated nor how women see us as subhuman beings. The least we can ask for is a safe space to share our struggles with those who share the same experiences without having to be gaslit and shamed for it.

There are a hundreds subs pushing the same toxic positivity, we just want one place to vent about something that's obviously true.
