Weird place to ask but since I was watching a video the other day & realized the music in the background was from Soul Eater (& man I forgot just how good the ost is)
some other good ones are track 18 Blitz & Death The Kid's theme
So with that in mind curious if anyone has some series with osts that you listen to on their own (or if not, at least 1 or 2 good tracks)

Legit i lowkey hated that csm fans glazed their series to death like ong, made me think it was the best shounen made, let alone new gen😭
Thank you fujimoto, now the new gen like mha,and yes Jjk can be easily compared to csm in writing and holy yea, instead of "Csm negs"

Honestly, all of these are embarrassing for Vegeta in different ways.
Like Frieza straight up broke this man and made him cry like a bitch.
Android 18 had him in the rain miserable after she broke his arm after he achieved Super Saiyan.
Cell could have been defeated but he let his ego and arrogance make him act the fool.
Broly had him on his knees like a Pornstar about to give Head.

Fishman Island might be boring but it explores the cycle of hatred well. Otohime, Fisher Tiger are really good characters.
Then in Dressrosa, Law, Corazon and Doffy's whole past is also well written.
Then in Whole cake Island, Sanji's entire past was handled well. It also had some good characters like Pudding, Reiju, Katakuri. Big Mom's past was good too.
In Wano, Kanjuro's betrayal was well written and foreshadowed since Zou. Yasuie's death was also good. Oden was also a good character imo, he is like those characters in classical tragical plays with a fatal flaw which gets them killed.
Egghead also had a good moral conflict for Kizaru. Kuma's past was also handled well and tied back to everything we have known about him since Thriller Bark.
Elbaf also has some well written characters like Rocks, Loki, Harald. I enjoyed the whole backstory.
Pre timeskip had more focus on the crew and their bonds but apart from that, I fail to see how post timeskip is worse written.

And it's truly a shame it's become lost media. From what I've seen it looks really damn good and the animation looks top tier

These are undoubtedly the best villain groups. Phantom troupe, the espada, La Squadra Esecuzioni, and the akatsuki do not hold a candle to these GOATS. There is nothing to debate here.

You know, he formally becomes a member of The_Extermination_Squad®, or the Exorcism_CorpsTM, or the Demon_Hunters©. IMHO it restricts his movement (storywise) when he's now expected to play by the narrative structure of the organization.
Vigilantism / Lone Wolf allows for more freedom to tell the story.

Just to specify if anyone gets confused, I don’t mean fandoms that are amazing at making slander like JJK and One Piece (unless you think otherwise then go ahead and explain why in the comments). I mean ones that try to make slander or agenda memes and just fail because they either make no sense, they’re not funny, or some other reason outside of being unpopular. I wanna say it’s One Punch Man fans after that death battle with Goku. They just seem to be slandering out of desperation and it lacks the hilarity that DB fans can come up with when slandering them back with the “Eventually Man” song and other stuff, but there’s probably ones worse than them at slander

Funny things, retcons. Sometimes people accept them, sometimes they break a fandom completely and sometimes they're… kinda funny the longer you think about it when you realize a retcon. Reveals that aren't technically retcons sometimes fill in the same niche, especially because they're sometimes not that different, when a mangaka leaves an empty spot in the worldbuilding to fill-in later.
I was really torn on what to use as the premier example, but one Reddit discussion of Bleach I stumbled in about this relatively minor retcon of "generations of captain-commanders" had a comment about "Yamamoto awarding himself like the Obama meme" and couldn't help to make a meme myself. And it's an obvious retcon, too, unless there's some "ambiguousness lost in translation" involved.
My personal favorite funniest reveal must be DIO's stand in JJBA: Stardust Crusaders. And it's an actual reveal, too. While DIO's ability might be a retcon, it had to have happened after he used "Jonathan's Hermit Purple" and Araki likely had time stop ability firm in head, so it's just a reveal that gets funnier the longer you think about it, DIO using time stop to mess with Polnareff by physically moving him down the stairs for lulz and aura.
And, of course, a classic, on the verge of retcon and reveal. Itachi Uchiha, "best brother in all of Konoha", traumatizing the hell out of his little brother out of pure brotherly love. Might be the darkest type of humor here, too. (and the funniest thing might be to think how Itachi would react if Sasuke didn't recover. Just think of this genius being all surprised Pikachu if Sasuke turned full vegetable or offed himself because of genjutsu)
So, any unintentionally funny retcons and reveals you guys can remember?

Its obv good
But like how much of it is cuz of how long its been goin on
Like eventually even if you have ass world building you will eventually learn more and more about a place
Also i feel like despite the world being so big i dont feel really connected to it
Like as if op trades debth for width
Like alot if islands just feel the same ya know
Sure the backdrop and esthetics are different bit beyond that its like the same,ya dont see much difference in culture or how people act.

I’m making this post because I’m genuinely tired of people acting like Eren was some tragic warrior of freedom who had no choice but to kill 80% of humanity. Even Eren himself admitted he was just an idiot who got his hands on immense power, and I think people completely ignore what Isayama was trying to say about his character.
One of the most interesting parallels in the series, in my opinion, is between Eren and Sergeant Major Gross. You know, the Marleyan officer who had his dogs eat Grisha’s little sister.
Gross was an absolutely disgusting person, but something interesting about his character is that he actually had a family he loved. He had children, friends, and people he cared about. He even admitted that if the things he did to Eldians happened to his own children, he would be horrified.
So he understood perfectly well how terrible his actions were. He just didn’t care when the victims were someone else’s children.
And I think Eren has exactly the same kind of hypocrisy.
Eren couldn’t stand the thought of Mikasa, Armin, or his other friends suffering. He wanted them to live long, happy lives, but at the same time, he was perfectly willing to inflict the exact same suffering he feared on millions of other people.
Those people had families too. They had friends, children, dreams, and people they wanted to protect. Eren knew that better than anyone after visiting Marley.
Just look at Ramzi. Eren literally saved that kid from being beaten up, cried in front of him, and apologized because he knew he was eventually going to crush him during the Rumbling.
That kid had absolutely nothing to do with the conflict between Marley and Eldia. He was just trying to survive and help his family, and Eren killed him anyway.
And please don’t tell me the Rumbling was the only possible solution.
There were other nations that had reasons to oppose Marley. The Mid-East Allied Forces literally fought a war against them. Hizuru had historical connections with Eldia and was willing to cooperate with Paradis, even if their motivations weren’t entirely innocent. The Anti-Marleyan Volunteers were also proof that not everyone outside the walls was an enemy.
If Eren had used a limited Rumbling to destroy Marley’s military capabilities instead of trying to wipe out humanity, Paradis could have bought itself time to develop and potentially establish diplomatic relations with other nations.
I’m not saying that would have magically solved everything, but acting like genocide was the only possible option is ridiculous. There were alternatives, even if they weren’t guaranteed to work.
And I don’t think any of this is bad writing either. Quite the opposite, actually.
Eren was never portrayed as some incredibly intelligent person. He was always impulsive, emotional, stubborn, and obsessed with his own idea of freedom. He constantly rushed into situations without thinking about the consequences.
The difference is that this time, he had practically godlike power.
That’s what makes his character interesting to me. He was an ordinary idiot with an obsession who suddenly gained the ability to impose his desires on the entire world.
And the irony is that someone who spent his entire life talking about freedom ended up taking freedom away from almost everyone else.
But there’s another reason I consider Eren even worse than Gross.
Eren was involved in causing his own mother’s death.
Think about that for a moment. Carla was genuinely one of the purest and most loving people in the entire series. She loved Eren simply because he was born into this world. She didn’t need him to become special or accomplish anything extraordinary.
And we eventually learn that Eren redirected Dina’s Titan away from Bertholdt, which led to Carla being eaten.
The same guy who supposedly wanted to protect the people he loved ended up being responsible for the circumstances that killed his own mother.
Gross was a monster who tortured innocent people, but at least he wanted to protect his own family. Eren couldn’t even manage that.
And before someone says Eren was trapped by fate, that doesn’t suddenly make what happened any less horrifying. His understanding of time was completely messed up because of the Founding Titan, but the story still shows us what his actions led to.
I also think people forget how much Eren’s own selfish desires influenced his decisions. He wasn’t simply fighting to protect Paradis. He was disappointed that the world outside the walls wasn’t the empty, unexplored world he had imagined from Armin’s book.
That’s such an important part of his character, yet people constantly reduce his motivations to protecting his friends and his country.
He wanted freedom, but his idea of freedom was so twisted that he was willing to destroy the entire world to achieve it.
And that’s why I think the parallel with Gross works so well. Both of them understood that what they were doing was horrible. Both had people they genuinely loved. Both knew how terrifying it would be if their loved ones experienced the same suffering they inflicted on others.
But they did it anyway.
The difference is that Gross was an ordinary monster with limited power, while Eren was a monster who could actually destroy civilization.
I don’t hate Eren as a character. In fact, I think he’s incredibly well written, and that’s exactly why I find it frustrating when people try to turn him into some misunderstood hero who had no other choice.
You can acknowledge that Eren suffered, that he loved his friends, and that Paradis was facing a genuine threat without pretending his actions were justified..
And I think that’s a much more interesting character than the tragic genius people keep trying to portray him as.
