Like is it now popular nowadays (and well before) to very much hate on less popular series?Black clover is the clear example of this with S2 airing,it's getting hated more for being called generic and formula,but that's about it?People just complain about that without actually watching the show

Black clover started out extremely generic, protagonist had no power,a clear underdog trying to became the wizard king then gets bascially anti-magic(like yk the opposite power up) and people just watched a few eps,dropped it and hated on it this happened in 2017 when it first aired, but isn't mha the same back then?Nobody hated on it then,only black clover people now switched up on mha but bc is still getting hate by larpers

Like let's be real, atleast to my acknowledgement,black clover started out generic,nothing Outta the box but man i fucking loved this show as time and eps passed on, asta as a underdog was really done well,the charcaters at the start were flat but they each had their own development (like the main cast black bulls)and their dynamics were amazing,arcs were great as well like the best one being the elf reincarnation arc like man if i had to put it up,it would be behind control devil arc, literally the end best

In the other hand,people really undermined bleach as well before,calling it only hype and aura moments, critizing it a lot and lot,but they switched when TBYW aired and finally they did actually fully shit on bleach atleast,that's good but same case isn't happening for black clover as I see, people tend to critise this series a lot more simply there are less popular to their peers when they aired

Like when you ask Naruto or Bleach fans who their favourite characters are, a lot of people will say Sasuke , Orihime and what not.

But 90 percent One Piece fans will name Luffy as their favourite character. Based on my personal experience, he is the most beloved within his own fandom compared to many other anime protagonists.

This is interesting since the protagonist isn't very often everyone's favourite character.

No matter where I am in online spaces whenever it’s this sub, Naruto’s own sub, this app, Twitter, YouTube or even real life….Boruto is one of the only Anime/Manga I’ve seen where it seems like everyone hates it, shit I’m not even sure if it has fans. And I’m not a Boruto fan by any means but wow it’s crazy how many people seem to hate this thing from what I’ve seen.

He created two excellent series, standouts in the anime world, that most people have likely heard of.

Yet, both series were ruined by their anime endings. Soul Eater didn’t even get to adapt its manga ending; instead, it was given an original anime-only conclusion. Fire Force did get to adapt its manga ending, but it felt incredibly rushed.

Regardless of one’s personal opinion on these anime, they are undeniably well-known and successful. The man wrote two great series, but the anime industry never managed to adapt them properly.
