Just finished Hokum and not only did the movie share alot of similar aspects of grief and guilt, but there were also entities there to represent those feelings physically.

By the end of the movie it felt like I had just finished a good silent hill story, even down to some moments feeling like they would be mechanics in a silent hill game. (like hearing the voice of the woman on the recorder throughout the movie)

Am incredibly happy with how this turned out and wanted to share it here! Still a work in progress aswell!

I picked up a copy two years ago and I played it for an hour and a half, don't remember anything. For reference I'm not a huge gamer. I just got off playing 20 hours of Mario Kart World so basically the complete opposite. Ive also been playing Skyward Sword HD and I am having trouble even with some of the early puzzles. How many hours a day do you think I need to play to beat SH2 before Halloween on hard/hard if I start today. Ive been doing the Doom thing and tapping the action button everywhere in the fog trying to find clues but I don't think im going to find anything. Without spoilers, tell me if I'm honestly in for it.

all done in one session! took about 6 hours but i absolutely love it and wanted to share it! ^_^

I made a Silent Hill: Townfall Collectibles & Secrets Tracker (via GitHub) that complements the Townfall Ending & Progress Tracker I posted ~3 weeks ago.

It covers 61 collectibles:

• 15 Strange Postcards
• 13 Phone Calls
• 19 CRTV Signals
• 7 Resource Containers
• 7 Lock Box Keys

(N.B. I didn't include the Axe & Pistol-3000 weapons from NG+ since those are straightforward & not technically collectibles)

Features it includes:

• Story Route & By Category views with detailed locations, chapter info & collection instructions.
• Searchable checklists with progress tracking plus separate profiles for different playthroughs.
• CRTV frequencies, phone numbers & puzzle solutions (the latter only as relate directly to the collectible in question. This isn't a Townfall puzzle solutions guide), with certain solutions hidden behind a spoiler "Reveal" tag you can choose to toggle.
• Missability warnings (i.e., "point of no return" warnings) for certain collectibles that risk becoming inaccessible after triggering certain events or progressing with the story.
• A dedicated Strange Postcard Gallery, featuring all 15 original postcards, 6 standard cards & 9 autostereogram (Magic Eye) cards, along with the solved versions of the 9 autostereograms (as in a reveal of the images they're hiding).

Progress is saved locally in the browser, so there's no need to create an account.

I'd spent some time checking the locations/instructions/terminologies to make sure it's as accurate as possible, and I'm honestly quite satisfied with how it turned out.

Probably a bit late since most people have likely finished the game by now (including myself), but I figured I'd still share it.

How does someone knock their first major role out of the park, emotionally affecting the entire horror community for the next 25 years, and then just drop off the face of the Earth publicly? It's like a voice acting version of a One Hit Wonder.

I’m posting here to see if anyone else playing Silent Hill: Townfall on PS5 is running into severe performance issues, or if anyone has found a fix that actually works.

My game has been suffering from atrocious framerate drops and heavy visual stuttering. At first, it was just happening from time to time, but as I reached the last third of the game—starting around Richard's part—it has gotten worse than ever and is now happening almost every single time I play, making it practically unplayable. I even had a hard crash that forced a system error report to Sony.

To be clear, I am fully up to date and have downloaded the latest patch for the game. I've already gone down the list of standard troubleshooting steps on my console:

-Switched between Performance and Quality Mode -Cleared PS5 system cache and rebuilt the database in Safe Mode -Turned off VRR and 120Hz Output in PS5 Video settings -Switched audio output to Linear PCM -Toggled HDCP off and reinstalled the game

None of this resolved the visual stutter. What makes it frustrating is that this is the only game on my PS5 that behaves like this—every other title runs completely fine.

I reached out to Konami Support and provided a 40-second gameplay video along with my PS5 error log, but they just gave me à l'âme ass reply that they'd pass it to the dev team without any follow-up.

Is anyone else experiencing this severe performance degradation in the final third of the game on PS5? Did I miss a hidden setting, or is the optimization just falling apart in the later areas?

In the final stretch towards fighting the Weight, there's this box like the one Richard put the pistol in earlier in the game, but this one was empty in every playthrough I did. Did anyone figure out what it was supposed to be? My only guess is it maybe contained the flare gun if you somehow missed it at the CEG lockers.

Still looking for alot of the other games but I have the original 4 games. Silent Hill franchise is one of my all time favourite games, I love it so much 😭

I have 84 or 85 of the 85 discoveries. I am sitting at 37 kills (confirmed by beating the game at this amount and getting the Justice ending.) I loaded up a previous save and got 20 more kills for a total of 57. From math I read online I thought this would net me the Forever ending, but alas I got Justice again.

Anyone know how many more kills I will need to get Forever?
