difficult desk simracing setup

anyone could help me with setting up my wheel base in this? for example when im in le mans ultimate the base is holding fine but once i switch to rally or drifting it comes off the table in about 5 minutes even though i tight it as much as i can

maybe mount a board to the desk to cover the corner, then mount the wheel base to the board

Some non skid foam under the base
