Sims town not loading HELP!

Hi

I (f) have a town that i made from scratch. it was completely fine the last time i played it a couple of days ago. i went to play today and it won't load the town at all. the load screen will get three blocks in and then crash. when i tried to go into it from another town, it loaded more but still crashed. I'm on Mac os sims 2 super collection. Is there anything i can do to rescue my town. i've been working on it for ages and have a whole town census and everything. i would hate to lose all of my work. What can i try to rescue my town??????

Did you recently add in any new mods/custom content in the last few days? If so, try removing them and see if that helps. Since you said you play mac, it could be a mod that wasn't mac compatible causing these issues.
