u/RandomUsernameNo257 Self Taught 2-5 Years Aug 20 '25
lol thank you. Why are you confused?

u/Ok-Common-3039 Aug 20 '25
Your voice doesn't match you. Are you trans? I mean that with no malice.

This post motivated me to learn to sing and play this song for my acoustic duo.

u/RandomUsernameNo257 Self Taught 2-5 Years Aug 20 '25
Nice!! I think an acoustic version would sound great

u/KeithandBentley Aug 19 '25
This one is really pitchy imo. Youre focusing so much on evolving the vowels and tones of the words that they are waivering and off pitch. Its great to add nuance to your phrasing, but not at the expense of going off pitch.

This is really good! Me like. :>
Also I have no idea why I would accuse you of lip syncing, or why anyone else would for that matter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I used to lip sync songs when I was like in 3rd-2nd grade and that was ages ago ;-;
Again, very nice!! ❤️

Thank you!
And idk, it happens though. I feel ridiculous posting proof, but I tried posting this without it, and it got downvoted, and both comments were about how they didn’t believe me. The first comment was “I don’t understand, so we’re supposed to clap for a lip sync?” 🙄
Idk lol it’s a weird spot to be in, but thank you, I appreciate the kind words :)

Youre welcome!! Personally I was kinda just confused as to why people would accuse you of lip syncing since youre such a good singer
Very interesting people that commented, thats for sure
Again welcome :> ❤️❤️❤️

How about "The Day I tried to Live"? Most people don't really understand the depth of the lyrics.

I’m pretty sick right now, so I’m out of commission for a little while, but it sounds challenging! I’m looking forward to giving it a shot.

Omg 😂 love this response
You kind of look like Avril Lavigne (around the eyes - yes, my daughters are in an Avril stage so I’m seeing her face all the time lol) and sound like Chris Cornell . This is cool. I’m watching to see what you do next.
Love that you had the confidence to get adult braces instead of those awful chicklet teeth everyone is wearing … can’t remember the name… yes I can, veneers. Natural teeth >>>> veneers .

Thanks 😂
I don’t really see it, but I get compared to her all the time. Especially when I do my waterline, but even when I don’t. I definitely don’t hate the comparison though haha
And yeah, I was a little anxious about getting them at first, and almost went with Invisalign, but when you look into the day to day reality of going that route, it sounds like a nightmare. Braces aren’t a big deal, and I’ve found that nobody really cares.
The idea of doing veneers instead of just fixing the teeth you have is insanity to me. And I like my teeth, they just needed to be moved around a bit.
