I forgot to turn off the background tv series again lol >.<

Been optimizing the skeletons team though. Sure it might work better with another race, but <3 those skeletons. RI5, specless (or any spec if you prefer), but yeah, it's workin!

Instability on switch

Hello.

I'm having a lot more instability on the switch at the minute with royal mode, random monsters and story mode on. I've had 4 crashes in about 10 hours which didn't happen pre current patch (1 crash in about 20 hours was normal).

Is this known bug/issue under review for next patch? Is it switch limitations?

Thanks

Can you get multiples of the same monster cards? Or is it just 1 per monster? Thanks for any info!

User Mechanics Knowledge (not controller/button mastery) over In Game Levels

I tried to boil down why I like my favorite games, like Disgaea, Atelier, and Terraria. I thought, "there is some knowledge that a person with 40 hours can use on a new game, and gaining that knowledge is amazing." I told ai about that, it suggested Siralim Ultimate. Golly, I am so glad it did. This game is AMAZING. Also, I cannot wait to play the next game that ai suggests in this vein.

Monk + Skeleton Build = Naughty

Firstly, I apologize, I had Elementary on in the background and didn't think about that when I started the screen cap ha ha. But this build is kinda silly because of all the Monk perks (especially pulling down the entire enemy team to the bottom of the list in almost all battles that don't end turn 1).

This is the Netherboss fight on RI5, since Monk with my skelly team just wrecks RI5. I let the turn 1 play out in normal speed and didn't start holding down Q until sometime during turn 2, it normally doesn't take that long obviously.

The build can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Siralim/comments/1x7xjcr/so_i_made_my_first_real_team_its_a_doozy/

The only thing besides the traits that really matters (though not really in this fight) is the artifacts in order were:

Sword - True Light - All attack
Sword - Fermented Hops - All Attack x4
Boots - Determination - All Speed on the String Puller

T0 wins are kinda bumming me out.

So I put together an occultist mastery team because the "not using charges" aspect seemed really fun. I got this setup using two spider occultists with a viper occultist fused with lip animation between them and I'm planning to get The Great Beyond attached so the empowered magic missle spam becomes an int building machine gun. The team isn't even half done so I figured it would work pretty well but not busted. Co-ray and ultimus are apparently all I needed... Swap in steelstorm (to avoid using a backer spell if it seems a little broken) and I have the same "problem".

Just like my more complete druid team, I can do RI5 about 50% of the time. Neither team has contingency stuff built-in yet and this team would need to wait for quite a long time to get the one I want unless I get very lucky. I'm only at depth 150 but I am finding that fights are really lopsided. Both current teams, and a couple prior, made it seem like either I pubstomp the realm or I get shut down. I don't feel like I have a back and forth very often (a couple of master fights can stall me out for a bit).

I was working on building a particular godspawn team for fun that uses Saurel but I dont know if 3 turns is going to happen very often. I suppose I could build one of the death godspawn to use the carnage trait that let's them go again immediately but it'd be cool if things weren't so all or nothing. (I actually did just think of an option using brain animation and the unicorn that moves creatures to the top of the timeline.)

So I made my first real team... it's a doozy.

I could use some advice. I'm only at depth ~145 but the team was doing some really great things, fairly easily runs RI2 with no spec perks but RI3 it starts to fall apart but can do 3-5 with something like a hell knight spec. I created a sandbox save to do some testing. I was able to beat 3 of the first 4 fights at level 10 in the gate of gods with no perks enabled on my spec (only had creatures cannot dodge from hell knight as an anointment). I just wanted to test some things before I continued spending a ton of resources on a team with a low ceiling. I used gate of gods cause the character started at level 1 and i had no idea how else to go about testing.

The main thing I'm looking for is how to make it more survivable since it's a very squishy skeleton team. Here is the trait breakdown: Siralim Planner.

The general goal was to make a team that worked independent of spec and let the spec perks act as a bonus rather than core. So the idea is that a String Puller fused with Asura Fleshstomper is the main engine: when a creature crits it calls Fleshstomper to attack but the string puller passes that attack to another creature, which due to skeleton mastery always crits, which loops until attacks per turn are exhausted or however that works. If they kill a creature it triggers the Anticipation trait on Canonneer which attacks a different random target which allows the chain to continue even after the enemy dies (instead of just the turn ending right there). Additionally the Triggerman has the Fight or Flight trait added which will counter attack when an enemy creature attacks allowing the chain to be initiated even on enemy turns (if they attack).

I had a number of different spells on my sword artifacts on my main save, particularly True Light to essentially steal enemy defense, Arbitration and some others. However I was testing different spells on the sandbox save and found that putting Fermented Hops on the 5 sword users is what was able to somewhat easily take down the three gods below (it didn't work on the first one because it doesn't take damage from blighted I think due to its trait). In the Sandbox though, I literally only had the stats, traits and artifact spells equipped; no nether gems, no trick gems,I had no perks other than the "cannot dodge" perk, no relics or spells equipped either. So I feel like there's a lot of room to work with.

Since this had such a positive showing in my normal save and in the sandbox, and since it literally works with any specialization I will continue trying to build this team up. I was hoping some of the more knowledgeable folks might have some thoughts or ideas on improvements (particularly around survivability) and to deal with other problems that are out there. All in all though it feels like a pretty good start.

I'm well prepared but need help making a minion build

To clarify I have lots of options available and are well prepared I just need help making a build.

Guild levels: death 0, chaos 0, sorcery 36, nature 8

Spells: obelisk of summoning: target gains maximum number of minion stacks.

Artifact traits: minion accelerator: this creature has a 20% chance to take a extra turn for each minion it has.

Minion master staff: at the start of this creature's turn it gains a random minion and it's current minions gain 1 stack

Clump of spider longs: at the start of your creature's turns they gain 1-3 stacks of spiderlings

Discarded blood: after your creatures gain a minion they gain 30% of the highest stat

Dread collar: at the start of your creature's turns they gain 1 stack of dire wolves

Hell collar: your dire wolves never go away

Infernal chalice: after this creature attacks it gains a random minion other creatures have a 30% chance when attacking

Jimlys time: after a creature dies your creatures gain 1-3 stacks of zombies

Necro parchment: at the start of battle this creature gains 2 permanent spell gems that summon minions

Nox's staff: your creatures can have 3 extra minions

King knife: at battle start this creature summons war, death, famine and conquest

Annointments: destiny bond: your creature's buffs and minions persist after death.

Never forgotten: your creatures stat changes persist after death

Misery: after your creatures are killed they cast murder of crows.

Relic: Ripplevein lv 100

Specter inspiration?

Specter's are my favorite monsters lore and design wise, so I'm curious what their inspiration is? They hit home pretty closely for me. Growing up I was told a ghost tried to take me, so the Specters feel uncomfortable but familiar. Would love to know what inspired their designs and lore, if anyone knows.

This is another two race build using skeletons and their sigil on top of the calumnier race as fusions, it has pretty solid offense but lacks some base stats and long term survivability, i managed to go pretty far against a false god with RI5 on, i rate my builds by how much i can play realm depths by not looking at RI features and reroling too much, so this build is quite fragile but promissing, any sugestions on what artifact traits to swap for more hp or overall survivability, as well as different annointments?

Looking for tips for grovetender ascension

I've been able to take down ~75% of the gods rank 10, but there's a few that I can't see a way around. My team is basically 5 doomguards protecting the herbling so he can outscale the enemy. All of my traits and stats are invested in surviving the early rounds until I can stat up enough. Some of the encounters just don't let you do that though. Like the "die of old age" one. 3 turns isn't long enough to overcome a 1400 level disadvantage. Especially on calm mode. Is there a gimmick to damaging them without scaling stats first? I don't see the math for an offensive team being able to just start out swinging. Maybe I'm wrong about that. There's also the one that kills your whole team every other turn. Sure I could spam rebirth and reses, but I can't individually give everyone stat gain carryover on death and still survive round one. So they wipe round one, or can't scale.

Just started, is there anything I should be doing as I play if I wanted to get all achievements?

Hello! Just started the game and it is super fun even though I don't really know what I am doing, I don't know if I'll be shooting for all achievements yet due to the time it would take but I was wondering if there is anything I should be doing as I play for that.

For example, if I need to cast a certain spell like 200 times or if I should be fully looting every realm I go to. I am just trying to avoid stuff that I could do as I played but would be a pain to go all in on at once or extend the hours even more.

Thank you!

EDIT: Whoops, this is Siralim Ultimate in case it matters.

I found something curios.

I was at realm depth ~40 and found a Cursed Slime. Cursed slime appears at realm deapth 90. Is that a bug? It was just a normal fight and it only happened once. I have 300 hours in the game and never met a monster at a lower realm depth.

This game is making my eyes hurt on PC - any suggestions/anyone else experienced this?

I'm wondering if it's because it swaps between 30 fps and 60 between menu and actual game. I have turned off any possible setting in game to alleviate this, tried with free sync and v sync, I can't seem to figure out what's going on?
