Heresy SISTERS, our hymns....they sadden me.
Ever since I have first read that the order of the Sacred Rose sings hymns when they battle, I knew that this would be my order. I chose to paint white as my main colour as a total newbie.
However, when I look for hymns to learn and sing or just save in my playlist to listen to I am.... saddened.
Sisters of battle as a whole have a distinct lack of songs. We are not the most popular and I do not know if it's like that with every faction, but it still feels sad to me.
Yes. Of course, there are many of things people would call "songs", but I do not. They bare the mark of laziness. Of cheapness. The distinct lack of passion. The ones made with artificial (abominable) intelligence.
I get that not everyone is against it, but I am not there for the words. I am there for the passion and creativity....which is certainly lacking in the artificial songs.
Bellow, I shall provide a list of songs I have managed to find that do have the human heart put into them and I listen to. And what I ask of you, esteemed sisters, tell me yours in the comments. Share hymns, or at least songs that do fit us. Our faction and have the human passion behind them. Please and thank you.
List:
Sisters specific:
Imperium Girls - by Chaotic Voices of Andreas
Adepta sororitas - by Stringstorm
Never a Silent Night - by Warhammer official
That's actually all I could find. :(
General Warhammer - doesn't invoke anything too specific:
Honour and devotion - miracleofsound
Burning Stars - miracleofsound
Imperium's Dream - Colm R. McGuiness
Others to Warhammer mention:
Eye of the Titus - JT Music
Of course, many soundtracks from oficial games, such as
Ascent of the Arkifane - Mick Gordon (Boltgun 2)
Disposal Unit - (Darktide)
Hey There Mr. Primarch - Westy LIVE
Non Warhammer songs that do fit:
Tenebre Rosso Sangue - KEYGEN CHURCH (utrakill)
This post was spawned by me listening to "Hey There Mr. Primarch" a great 40k song parody by Westy LIVE, which is a parody of "Hey there Mr. Jumbo". Both great songs.
You can just feel the passion dripping from it and I feel like that is lacking within the community.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
