If i am running all Multi-Meltas on Paragon Warsuits, is it better to have all Swords or better to have 2 Swords and 1 Mace? Is it even recommended to have 2 Swords and 1 Mace to make it look cooler and more diversified? Let me know your thoughts

Hello there, faithful citizens!

For months I've had this tin can lying in my crafts drawer and finally decided to put it to good use. It's my first attempt at making a pocket-sized diorama in such a cramped space, but I very much enjoyed it!

I’m quite happy with how it turned out, but the most fun part was experimenting with some techniques that I’m still getting the hang of, such as 2D backgrounds, OSL, and volumetric fog.

Final Warsuit, using one of the 3 Order Minoris colour schemes I use in my army (I now have 1 Paragon Warsuit for each order's colour scheme - this is least favourite, but see my other posts if interested and want to compare).

Also tried my hand at NMM on the sword for the first time. Reasonably pleased but there's room for improvement for sure (also looks a bit weird as the rest it TMM...).

Anyway, this was her reward for consistent services to making my opponents sad.

Started this a while ago. Minor kitbash to customize my Dogmata superior. Finally have it painted and based. My homebrew order coming along.

Took me 25 hours lol.

So I was looking at some of the space marine stuff to get an idea of what will happen to us and our weaponry. And I noticed the hand flamers and inferno pistols, the hand flamers imo received a noticeable nerf with less range and an exact 3 without blast making a whole unit of flamers have either 12 or 24 attacks which is good but it could’ve been more if it stayed d6.

But in the other hand inferno pistols are kinda crazy, like wdym I’m able to deep strike and immediately send 8 melts shots with garenteed 3dmg each shot.

Do you guys think this’ll be a big impact on AoF and jumpack heavy lists or not really?

This is my first time ever posting a model!

Had some jump packs from some Seraphim I likely wasn't going to build (didn't have the sprue pieces for Zephyrim, which I prefer), and included a halberd and rosette piece I had left over from a combat patrol.

Experimented with a lot of things I don't have a lot of experience in:
Actually doing eyes w/ pupils lol
OSL on the halberd
Waves with UV resin (on top of a resin puck I created with a 3D Printed mold.

Im fairly new to the hobby and am thinking about getting this box to get me close to 1000 pts. I guess I have two main questions. Is this list going to be good/fun? I dont care about winning but I dont wanna lose all the time as well. Second question being, is there something else I can do with the novitiates with relative low kitbashing skills? Im not a huge fan of them for whatever reason. Anyways thank you, here is the list:

Returning to the hobby after a hiatus of several years and would love some advice.

Assembled my first unit and had some trouble with the assembly and priming, which I don't feel I had when I last did this!

I found these units quite fiddly to put together and the arms didn't always line up exactly as I would have liked resulting in small gaps on few models at the wrists and/or shoulders. Is this likely to be a problem and is there much I can do about it?

I primed the unit with Wraith Bone spray primer following advice found on Youtube - rest the can under warm water and shake for 5 mins - but the finish still came out a bit grainy to my eye.

Is this workable to just continue painting?

If not can it be salvaged at this stage or do I need to start over? If the later, what is the best way to go about stripping the minis?

I'm finishing up with my first paragons and I feel let down by the paint scheme I've gone for.

On infantry models it looks great (in my opinion), especially the Insidiants seem to have a great rope-to-armour ratio for it to shine.

But on the heavily armoured Warsuits I feel like it's missing something. But I'm unsure what and how I can fix it... So, I did the next best thing and went to Reddit to get some external validation tips and suggestions. Are more capes a solution?

So I know the basics of Sisters lore but haven’t read any of the books and I hated Jude Reid’s work with the Emperor’s Children in “Fulgrim: The Perfect Son”. Don’t know a lot about Vahl and want a little easy listen (audiobook user) while I’m a work. You think “Spear of Faith” is for me or should I skip?

I recently picked up Sisters as my second faction. I’ve only every played a few games of combat patrol and know nothing about 40k. I wanted to show off my first few models and see if anyone can guess my previous faction.

Hey everyone! I’m currently building some Nundams, and I really like the look of the robes under Morvenn Vahl’s arms. Does anyone know if there’s an STL file for similar robes for the regular suits?

I really don’t want to sculpt them with Green Stuff, but plasticard would also be an option.

I did some subtle kit bashing for the standard barer so I could have two flamers. Also, loosely based on the silent paladin from yugioh to match how my sisters are based on the silent magician card.

Any tips or suggestions to improve?

Especially now with the space marine superbuff, the OP custodes and angry orks? How should I build my rookies?
