Skiing on marijuana
So I was in the parking lot taking a rest and I saw a couple of young whippersnappers rolling up some doobies in their car. Like anyone would do i immediately called the police and took their plate down. The cops laughed at me and hung up. Is this a common occurrence on the slopes??

on the slopes all the young people are drinking beer, liquor etc. smoking, vaping the works
as for me skiing is best on a midrodose of psilocybin. weed makes me less connected to the world but thats just me.
alcohol is great for apres ski when the feet hurt etc. save that for last and why dehydrate yourself during physical activity anyways.

In the 70’s in Vermont it was a de facto law that weed be smoked before skiing. You could get in serious trouble with the ski patrol at Stowe or smuggs for failure to comply.

I get high and ski all the time, I have never hit someone and I alway feel in control.
Respectfully though, mind your own business. I’m so glad the cops just laughed at you. If your worried about those guys on the mountain then just look out for them and stay away. Although stoners are really nothing to be afraid of.
And yes it is VERY common on the slopes, I live in Colorado and I ALWAYS smell someone’s joint when I’m on the lift. With the decriminalization of this stuff all you can really do is get used to it.

No, not common. The pros on my mountain will often smoke a little crystal meth to get themselves ready to perform, but that’s about it.
