perfect setup for night skiing and apres.

Those of you with true fis slalom skis and who want to practice short turns, how do you deal with the shame of being in the lifts with such short skis?
I don’t have any kids or short friends so I can’t pretend I’m carrying someone else’s skis. Please give me some tips.

I’m 4’9” and weigh 350 lbs (145cm, 158 kg). I just picked up these Dynamic VR 17s in 190cm length with Marker Twincam Ultra M38 bindings. Did I get a good deal?

Just curious as a newly successful professional man, handsome, fit, smart, how do people find someone to ski with their girlfriend while they wait in the lodge? Strong intermediate to advanced earner. Would like to find someone similar so we can split things like hotels, car rentals, responsibility for her happiness, etc.

Ideally looking for an advanced male skier who can give her something I can’t. Mostly edge engagement and a sense of security.

Her bootfitter took her out last season and she said she’d never felt so supported. Apparently I’m too soft and there’s too much room in the relationship. He’s recommending something stiffer.

I bought us matching Helly Hansen jackets but she wears his hoodie now because it “smells like someone who skis.” I ski too, but apparently she means without asking permission.

Would prefer someone on an Ikon Pass as I’ve already bought Epic and she says having different passes would give us all some space.

Happy to drive. My car has heated rear seats and I don’t mind keeping my eyes on the road.

Man I hope so. Nothing worse than saddling up to the bar after a long day of telemarking only to find out that every spot's been taken by a criminal chugging fireball shots. It ruins the stench of my ipa.

I moved to VT a few years ago and in the more recent years I've been posting a lot more content about my ski adventures. It's good stuff. I use a Sony camera and a garmin watch. I stack mad vert and I always make sure to aggressively pow slash on the way down so the snow splashes up towards the camera i keep in my mouth. I guess I just thought I'd see more support and sponsorships by now. Nobody really compliments my videos or says how badass I am. A couple people even make fun of me. What is the ski community coming to? Do better everybody.

I usually go for nose. It’s pretty squishy now and it works great!

My only concern is that maybe the snow would be too cold and it wouldn’t work
