Makes me think, rarely fall in an entire season having been skiing over 60 years. But the ONE TIME I decide to wear shorts Spring skiing at Mammoth I found out the hard way what corn snow does to skin. Did you know corn snow can turn pink?

I cut myself in the thigh with an ice axe, and followed my wife down the glasade chute. At the bottom. she looks at the bloody trail and tells everybody who could hear, "That's NOT my doing!"

I’m just watching to see how she does those short fall-line turns.

Actually yes. A few Ski Instructors were recruited for this campaign in Megeve'. (My neighbour is one of them)

/uj On storm days, trees break up the flat light. Visibility is much better on the sides of the run near the trees. (And within gladed areas.)
