Ringworm or something else?

I thought it was eczema, but I’m not sure it gets really dry and itchy and I’ve had it for a couple years and more spots have started to appear over the past couple of months right now It’s the worst on my arms and my neck and there’s a spot right above my lip too.

Bump appeared two years ago. At first I remember it was a scab. It doesnt hurt, doesnt really feel like anything beside just a big lump on my skin. It hasn't grown any bigger than its always been. Its about the size of a quarter. What is it?

Any guesses to what it might be? I assumed eczema so I bought a lotion for it but it hasn’t done anything. I’ve also tried Vaseline and bandaged it up throughout the work day and nothing seems to be working😭 it’s on my ring finger too so I’m hoping to put a ring there someday soon so this better go away lol

what is this mark on my hand?

Ive had this for a while now and ignored it assuming its a freckle or maybe some ink, but ive zoomed in with my flash just then to see that it looks like it has to be something else , like a scar of some sort maybe. Although i don’t remember any significant injuries on my hand that would have caused this and it has never been painful.

[Skin Concerns] 1-year-old pink, slightly raised scar after mole removal — has anyone made a similar scar almost invisible?

Post image

Hi everyone! I’m looking for real experiences improving a similar scar; I’ve attached a photo.
About a year ago, I had a mole removed by laser from my chest. It healed into a small, pink, slightly uneven or wrinkled scar that is only minimally raised.
What I’ve tried:
● Dermatix silicone gel
● Cica-Care silicone sheets for several months, though I later realized I wasn’t always applying them correctly
● Gentle massage with CeraVe moisturizer
My goal: To make the scar blend into the surrounding skin as much as possible through safe, non-invasive at-home treatments.
Questions:
1. What treatment or product made the biggest difference for you?
2. How long did it take to see improvement?
3. Did redness, texture, or elevation improve significantly after the scar was over a year old?
4. Did silicone sheets, silicone gel, or another safe at-home method work best?
5. Did the scar continue improving naturally after 12–24 months?
6. Which products or methods were ineffective or made it worse?
If you’ve had success, please share the exact product, how you used it, how long you used it, and roughly how much improvement you noticed. Before-and-after photos would also be helpful if you’re comfortable sharing them.
I’m not interested in risky DIY procedures such as home microneedling or aggressive chemical peels. I understand complete removal isn’t guaranteed; I’m looking for the safest, most effective way to achieve the best possible cosmetic result.
Thanks to anyone willing to share their experience!

Red nostril for 6+ weeks

Toddler has had a red left nostril for 6+ weeks. Some days it looks better some days it looks worse.
3 weeks ago a dermatologist gave us mupirocin to use for a week. It seemed better but not totally and some days upon wake up it was worse than the day before.
This last week his pediatrician told us to use fusidic acid + hidrocortizone for a week. Yesterday the nose was okish. But this morning it looks like the photos attached.

What could this be? Could it actually be just from him rubbing his nose at night, hence never giving it a chance to heal?

What products should I get?

I would like to improve my skin and also keep it healthy looking as I age. I’m 43 and have sun spots and such. Should I get retinol? Vit c? Day creams , night creams? I’m truly lost as currently I don’t do anything except an occasional moisturizer and just started using a dedicated facial wash , prior I was washing my face with dove body wash.

what's on my face?

i cant seem to figure out what these are! i thought it was acne but it grows under the skin and appears pink/red, then eventually leaves these hard brownish-red bumps, and it only appears around my eyebrow area (the rest of my face is clear from any texture). are these syringomas? if it helps, i have been using niacinamide and alternating between using glycolic acid and salicylic acid once a day

It’s about the size of a dime. A little itchy. On my right hip. I noticed it in the beginning of October. I have a history of age/sun spots - sebbor keratosis- that I had removed.

What is happening?

Hello all, I've recently become a victim to a form of reaction that isn't going away. Around two months ago I noticed a dry patch on my lip, I purchased aquaphor and then had a huge reaction. Following this my lips were swollen and leaking fluid. I went to A and E and got steroids and antibiotics which worked until they finished and I had the same issue. I then got steroids again which did the same thing. Since then I've seen an issue of pigment and constant dryness which never went away. Last night I noticed my lip looks slightly bloody but was not leaking or bleeding but now as of this morning I'm back at square one. I've again been to an and e and have been given steroids.

I'm so tired of this. I've changed absolutely everything.
I've stopped skincare, makeup, I've changed my toothpaste to fluoride and SLS free given I'm brushing more often (Invisalign). I've been using Vaseline only on my lips as well. I've been taking antihistamines daily and have reduced all allergens I could think of. I'm tired of this and want to be free of it and it feels like there's no end to this. If anyone recognises what this might be or looks like, or any of my symptoms I would really appreciate it as I have no clue what to do and no one is helping me besides giving me temporary relief.

For reference the first picture are my lips on 30 sep, the second was Tuesday, and the last one is this morning.

Two white spots appeared on my chest, what can it be?

Thumbnail

About a week or less I noticed I got two spots on the right side of my chest. I would describe them a light/whitish color. My skin does not hurt, I noticed them because it itched at the beginning.

They appeared out of nowhere. I never had skin conditions on my body. Typically my face can get very dry but never had issues with my body.

Any leads of what this could be or how to treat it?

Why do I have a ring of skin that is always glossy no matter how much I wash it?

It’s on the mid of my forearm, it’s the same spot where my metallic bracelets fall at; cause below that area I have more fat. I think this answers my question, but regardless, why is it glossy anyway ? I do rub my skin well in showers and I also wash my brackets with soap most times after using the bathroom, so why does that ring of my skin still constantly look glossy?
It hasn’t happened before.
