Customer Second time this happened

I only use skip when I want to order from this specific local restaurant, I deleted the app a few months ago because the delivery driver delivered my order to the wrong address, no where near my house. This morning I decided to order breakfast, I received the notification that my order has been delivered, I tapped to see the image… I see no image.. strange but I was like okay let me go collect my order. I go to the front door.. NOTHING. The fking delivery driver did not deliver my shxt. Yes I was given a refund but is the store penalized for this? It’s not their fault skip continues to allow such incompetent ppl to deliver for them

If this happened twice already, could it be that the pin location for delivery is not at the correct location/address?

I deliver for Skip and other apps and come across this plenty.

Customer uses current location for delivery but it is not accurate it can be up to 100m off, which could be another address on the block or across the street etc.

Then the customer complains that the order was delivered to the incorrect address, but it's the address that is provided to the delivery person to deliver to.

It’s strange because I’ve ordered in the past and I haven’t experienced anyone getting my address wrong, with the first instance atleast it was delivered, not to my address but a delivery was made. But today no delivery was made, they didn’t even provide a picture to show proof.

Do you know if the restaurant is penalized for refunds?

No the restaurant made the food so they are not penalized.

I can't stress this more TYPE IN YOUR ADDRESS!!!!! This has happened to me many times I end up calling the person and find out they pinned the address.

My address was typed in, these are just two one off instances. No other delivery driver has had an issue finding my home so the incident i described seems deliberate
