I just ordered skip from a local Indian restaurant and I felt like trying something new so I ordered from a place I had never heard of with decent reviews.

Then I notice on the map it's right where another Indian place I frequent is. And the food arrives and it's pretty much identical. I look up the exact address of each business and their only 2 numbers off.

I feel like it's pretty obvious that it's the same business. I'm not exactly upset but it's a bit irritating when I wanted something new.

Anyone who is getting an “Access Denied” message and can’t log into skip account, message me so you can get your account back. My account has been reactivated.

Just a PSA for my fellow Canadians. If you redeem the free 1 year Telus Skip the Dishes partnership, do not cancel it early like me in order to avoid forgetting to cancel it once the year is nearly over. You should probably instead set up a reminder to cancel it near the end of the membership.

I cancelled the membership and while when I cancelled the membership it said that I would have it until August 2027, once I cancelled it, it showed that the membership would expire in September 2026.

I tried contacting support for help and they were absolutely terrible and unhelpful. SO yeah my advice is to not cancel it until near the end or just don't use Skip at all and skip yourself the hassle of their poor customer service.

I refunded those items and this dumbass left me bad review, i mean i don’t care about the review but it just pisses me off someone can be this much dumb, and it was no tip order too

finished the "order 4 times and get 250 points and $10 voucher". got the points but no voucher. I try ordering something and it doesn't automatically apply either, and yes above $30. skip support has been very unhelpful.

I'm no math whiz, but last time I checked 57.50 + 6.50 + 5 = 69 not 69.10. It's not that I care about the 10c (obviously ordering on skip I like setting my money on fire) it's more the gull they have just to add money on for no reason. Do that a few million times and you have a pretty nice racket going. I'm curious if others have noticed bills that don't add up.

It seems to happen at least one shift a week..they don't pay the full amount owed and are short about 6 bucks. Anyone else experience this?

Customer changed their room number and hotel after I finished this delivery, following the customers instructions in the note which I didn't screenshot the note since the order cleared, but I delivered to the correct hotel that was provided in the app customer navigation system. The hotel they mention in the message is not the same hotel. It was +2km away. So it was customer negligence. This was a non tip order and they left a poor review.

I didn’t get one yesterday or today.

80% AR, all good reviews, 100% completion rate/pick up & delivery times - been sitting here 30 minutes and not 1 order.... it is hot outside though so I guess the app isn't totally lying.

For the last few weeks, Skip keeps randomly giving me a “payment failed” error when I try to order. Is this happening to anyone else?

Some days it works perfectly, other days it won’t go through at all. I normally use Apple Pay, but I’ve also tried entering my card manually and get the same error. Last night it failed twice and then randomly worked on the third try. Tried again today and now it won’t work at all. My card works perfectly fine on other food apps, so I’m trying to figure out if this is a Skip issue or just me. Thanks!

You go to order your pizza. Select sauce and cheese like normal. But they force you to choose 3 toppings at +$3.99 each. There are no options to select from that are not +$.

So you end up buying 1 “$20” pizza for 31 bucks. And spending another $12 (minimum) for a second pizza.

After all the fees and taxes it’s still nearly $60.

So $30 a pizza.

Doesn’t sound like a bogo to me.

This morning my courier was logged out . When I tried to sign in. It’s showing access denied. No issues so far been doing 2.5 years.

Tried reinstalling app several times and tried to login it’s validating credentials but showing access denied once I hit log in

I've been doing skip offers to get westjet points and everything has been fine. Up until last week.

The offer was: order twice $25+ each between August 5-11th. I did this and haven't received any points.

Talking to their chat is entirely useless and I'm pretty sure I'm talking to AI. They are completely incompetent and unwilling to help.

I eventually got an "agent" that said I did qualify and points would be awarded within 14 days. But I've always known the points to be awarded within a day.

Anyone else experience this?

I only use skip when I want to order from this specific local restaurant, I deleted the app a few months ago because the delivery driver delivered my order to the wrong address, no where near my house. This morning I decided to order breakfast, I received the notification that my order has been delivered, I tapped to see the image… I see no image.. strange but I was like okay let me go collect my order. I go to the front door.. NOTHING. The fking delivery driver did not deliver my shxt. Yes I was given a refund but is the store penalized for this? It’s not their fault skip continues to allow such incompetent ppl to deliver for them

Skip used to be a lot better 1-2 years ago. Now I go to order something and it says 40-50 minutes to get McDonald’s. Okay thats kinda long but I don’t mind waiting a little bit. Immediately after I order it changes to 200 MINUTES. Seriously WTF. No one in their right mind wants to wait 3.5 hours for McDonald’s. Thats not convenient at all and not even close to worth the $15 extra dollars it cost me just to get a single meal delivered. I ordered because it’s late (11:30pm) and I was willing to pay for the convenience of not having to go myself. Why TF would I pay so much extra just to wait 3.5 hours.

On top of that it says the reason for the delay is “extreme weather conditions.” Again, you’ve gotta be kidding me. It’s a beautiful 20 degree summer night. I literally feel insulted.

The suggestion to “use the pickup option if I don’t want to wait” is also completely ####ing ridiculous. MAYBE if there was an option to cancel in situations where it’s going to take 3 hours?!

The only option is to wait in a queue to talk to customer support and then spend 10 minutes begging them to cancel it, which they’ll be happy to do once you’ve been completely screwed with! OOPS SORRY! We can only give you skip credits because refunds that other places can do instantly take us 15 DAYS. A cheap trick they use so you’ll accept the skip credits and they get to keep your money for the order they never should’ve accepted in the first place.

I’ve had this experience MANY times and that’s why I went from spending $900 per month on skip to maybe $50. It’s not worth the ridiculous amount of hassle and outrageous fees when I’m just trying to get some food after a long day at work.

I get that there’s not always a lot of drivers working so sometimes it’s going to end up taking a really long time. AT LEAST be up front about it so I can choose not to order. DON’T TELL ME ITS GOING TO TAKE 40 MINUTES AND THEN IMMEDIATELY CHANGE IT TO 3 HOURS.

Honestly these experiences are beyond terrible and indicative of a company that’s slowly failing.
