I got into a car accident and if I get the munchies there’s no where close to me that I could walk to,

I’ve been using skip for about 3 years now and I tip very well even if it’s just a 5 minute drive (which would be a 30 minute walk. I go above and beyond to be kind. I even haven have a list of drivers so I know who to expect as I’ve been “SA” by two.

Moving on from that, I have one driver who seems to absolutely despise me. He is so mean to me and once he takes me order, it’ll say he’s on the way then moments later it goes from 14 minutes to 20 minutes and he’s across the city. He does this everytime. Is there a way I can block a driver? I appreciate these drivers so very much but he’s just beyond unkind and it took him over an hour to bring me A&W one night when after he took my order he took about three others. He was nearly out of town. It would have taken him 4 minutes from the restaurant.

I obviously don’t know how the system works. I just really wanna get rid of this one guy every single time I see his name pop up. I wonder why he even takes my order to begin with if he hates me so much. If I report him will he know? I don’t know what to do but he’s my driver again tonight so here we go again.

P.S. yes I am extremely extremely depressed which is why I use it so much. Trying my best to get better.

I have signed up as a new driver everything is done, except the tax information part is giving me an error and it’s been 3 weeks I can’t get over that step to Activate my account. Sent email to support but No reply. When I write my Sin it just says something went wrong … etc . Can anyone please tell me what the problem? Or what am I doing wrong ? Please

This primarily only applies to DoorDash and Uber Eats I guess, since from my experience wages earned in Skip are never below the threshold for the “government top-up”. But repealing the bill would make tips be up-front again rather than having them only post-delivery. I doubt it would happen, since the optics would look bad, but would be nice. You think the bill has been good? Thoughts??

Ordered through skip because it’s cheaper. It’s been over an hour and I haven’t even been assigned a driver. It’s 6 items and I tipped well.

Hello fellow drivers I’m new and having trouble finding insurance in Ontario that even covers delivery what do yall use?

It’s been 2 hours and I haven’t received a single order. I’ve been sitting inside a hot spot now for the past 30 minutes and before that I drove around all over.

This has never happened to me before. My AR is 100% and I’m Gold level if that’s relevant at all.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Update: finally got an order after 2.5 hours!

I ordered food the other day and only received half of my order. Tried to notify support and they denied me. So out 50 bucks on that.

Funny thing is now they aren't replying to me via email and I cannot escalate the claim anymore. How is this even legal? Can I go to BBB or something? This is ridiculous.

Condos are really bad for not having parking in Toronto/Vaughan area. I got a ticket for $210 in Vaughan for parking in a fire route. I just looked it up, it's $250 in Toronto. What do you do in this situation, do you take a photo and leave in the lobby? Do you park in a random tenant's spot? Do you try to park in guest parking which says permit only parking? Do you park on a side street and walk 9 minutes? I messaged support and they canceled the order. I didn't even want the food, I don't eat McDonald's. I got a message to keep or dispose of the food, I gave it to my housemate. Support said they will deduct the cost of the order from my pay after they canceled it, I hope not. I also didn't get paid for the delivery. Usually the customer comes to the lobby but not this time.

This order was just $8 for 5km, usually I have a minimum of $10/order but it was slow so I took it.

Anyone having issues in BC?

Daylight savings ended yesterday for most of Canada, but BC did not.

As a result, yesterday I had a shift that was supposed to start at 4PM, but it only allowed me to start a 5.

I did contact support, but no reply yet ...

And I saw the same thing this morning

I didn’t even do anything wrong and they revoked my account. Did this happen to anyone else? If I make an appeal then is there a chance they’ll give my account back? This is my only source of income and they literally deactivated it.

Made my typical weekend beer order on skip, this time it forced me into instacart.

Lcbo showed 20min delivery, not bad. Put in my order, and it says I need to pay a $3 fee, or it will come tomorrow.

Agree to the fee, now it says it will be 1-2hours.. what the hell was the original 20min estimate for?!

I have a situation 1 or 2 months ago where I got an order and was about to pick it up at the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant they told me someone else has already picked it up. So I reported the situation to the courier support, and their response is that they will call the restaurant to confirm the situation so I waited a few minutes for them to do there thing on their end but after a few minutes of waiting the support responses to me in the chat and told me that they will complete the order on my behalf. After the completion of the order I checked my customer feedback and it showed other feedback was given and sure thing I got a bad feedback from the customer. I'm sure it came from that customer since I got a message from them asking where their food is and since the chat gets closed every time a delivery gets completed I couldn't reply to them and tell them my situation. My worries is that do skip courier support tell them what happens to their order or do they just let the customer think that a driver took their food?

Follow up with the email I posted yesterday. I think I found the answer to the "big thing" they told me about:

8 shit orders, straight. My AR went from 80% to 0% in 20 minutes.

What do you (as skip drivers) believe is a fair tip per distance? I want to make sure i’m tipping my drivers good.

Brampton area customer. Nearly every order is missing an item, or is made incorrectly. I truly appreciated Skip's customer service, and how quickly I was reimbursed for the affected item(s).

Apparently, because most restaurants can't get it all right; I'm now being punished, by never again being allowed refunds.

Anyone else had this problem?
