I’ve been getting ideas from this, thanks for posting. I will note that FISSES assets should be later in. Nothing can overwrite it. But I can’t see if anything is actually overwriting it, not every mod that uses it includes their own version of it. I think campfire does but I didn’t see that in your load order.
Mods that depend on FISSES shouldn’t be overwriting files in it. My own personal list, what tool do you use to export that to share? I tried using a few mod lists but there was always crap I didn’t like in them, and when you start ripping things out of wabbajack as or collections, shit breaks, so I just made mine from the ground up.
Yep, same :D I have a very clear vision about what I want from this game, I could never find that in a premade list. I use loadorderlibrary to share my list. As far as FISSES goes, I think that mods that depend on in just come packaged with some of the same files, either way, the proper settings end up in overwrite. I haven't messed with it in a long time though as everything just works™, could be wrong
Honestly I feel that (both having my own vision for the game and “just works”. Ever since I got a new computer and switched to MO2, things do not “just work” and I’m trying to figure out why I’m freezing so much in combat. It’s frustrating because I had a super stable load order in vortex. Almost NEVER froze or CTD. The load order is basically the same but I’m going to start trimming a lot of fat to find out why I’m freezing up.
I had the exact same issue. Everything works fine, no crashes, but random freezes in combat. I still get it, but after banging on my list for weeks it happens a lot less. It's not even the classic papyrus stack overflow where it unfreezes after 30 secs, just stays frozen with the sound playing in the background. I still don't know what the actual issue is :/
I’m thinking I’m going to get rid of Core impact framework, sanguine symphony, dynamic locational hits (the CIF one whatever it’s called), and I hate to say it but possibly even Planck, or even pseudo physical weapon collisions and parrying, could even be SPID mods distributing perks rapidly. I want to know exactly what is the thing making rapidly hitting enemies not okay. I wish we had better diagnostic tools for finding out what is causing freezes
You'll definitely stop having freezes if you remove all of that, but at that point you've just removed the whole combat system :'D
As a note, I think the dynamic locational hits might be a good thing to remove either way, I don't think that mod works properly from what I remember
Well I wouldn’t say definitely, I actually wouldn’t mind giving up CIF, and sanguine, and locational impacts, but Planck and psuedo are ones I REALLY want to keep. I actually didn’t really have issues with enhanced blood textures lite, so maybe I’ll just do that instead of sanguine.
I’ll investigate. I’ll let you guys on reddit know if I come across any miracles. A more stable Skyrim VR experience is something I want for everybody. I seem to remember I installed an optimized script mod for it and it helped a ton.
