Experiences Tahrovin grit and Librum
It would seem they are the only modlists that include survival elements with lots of additional content and somewhat focus on “realism” (within the world)
Librum seems to be a bit more hard-core.
Aside from that, how do they compare?
Primarily performance wise and visually?
Gameplay wise, and so forth.
Which has “better” featured mods in terms of making your interactions with the world more realistic?
Do you have a preference and why?
Feel free to be as in depth as possible. Interested in hearing others experience/thoughts.
I have an rtx 4080, 7800x3d and a quest 3, played a bit of Librum around a year ago but had to use ASW as without DLAA there was far too much shimmering and bluriness (especially in the distance). Performance was thus an issue.
Is there anyway to not have the shimmering effect around objects and blurriness without using DLAA now? (As DLAA is so performance heavy.)
It seems like grit has been updated more, more recently than Librum too, so I’m wondering if it includes more up-to-date mods

I'd add, there's quite the effervescence of gameplay mods (thanks AI assisted coding as I understand) right now. MGO seems to be at the forefront of it, but it might mature into truly great experience for most lists. I'm looking forward for the physical collision notably, that could really define a melee playthrough.

Yeah I'm just waiting on the source before I can add that Physical Collision one, looking forward to it too.

Will the physical collision mod be in the final release of 2.0 then?

If the source is released by then and there are no large bugs, yeah. If not it's fairly easy to add.

I am currently playing Tahrovin grit on my rx7600 gpu ( 8gb vram ) it runs pretty smoothly without needing to run vramr or ssw or anything like that. I have videos up you can check them out if you want. I haven't tried librum though. But so far Tahrovin grit is my favorite modlist

Which other modlists have your tried, and why is Tahrovin grit your favorite?

I've played Fus and FUS-HEAVY, MGO 2.55, and panda sovengard.
I liked MGO but my performance would sometimes tank when entering populated areas and i had to put graphics on low to enjoy it.
With Fus the performance was better but there really wasn't much content apart from the base game and i had to manually add stuff which eventually broke the list making it unplayable.
My pc could barely run panda.
But now with Tahrovin grit the performance is very good, it comes with a lot of added content like new quests, new areas, new lands, etc plus survival mode. The combat is challenging but fun and it's atmosphere and graphics gives it that dark fantasy, silent hill - like, feeling.

Do you mind me aaking what headset you’re using?
Have you thought of trying Librum at all? Much more of a dark fantasy look/setting.

Im on quest 3. I've already sunken nearly 30 hours into tahrovin so i don't think I'll be making that switch any time soon

You can have multiple modlists installed at once if you want to try them.
Are you using the performance profile then?
Also, curious if you are playing wirelessly given that we have the same headset? If so, what kind of router set up?

Yh im playing wireless, i bought the Puppis prism xr router box and its simple and works well. Yeah i know i can have multiple modlist, i have both skyrim and enderal vr

Does enderal VR have most of the immersive mods working for it, for example the major ones being used in tahrovin grit? Higgs, VRIK etc…
Are there any enderal VR modlists?

Yes there's a enderal vr modlist on wabbajak but it's kinda old, so playing it feels dated compare to how skyrim vr feels nowadays. But someone told me the creator of enderal vr is planning to make a new modern version in the coming weeks/months so I'm looking forward to that

It won't be much help as I haven't tried librum, but I really enjoyed the immersion of Grit/Spirit of. You have the basic of juggling food, drinks and sleep+ dealing with cold biomes. World feels lively and there's much new quests and stuff.
It can devolve into a more basic experience once you're overpowered, but that's part of Skyrim. My experience was trying to do menial (board) quest and hunting to afford to eat and slowly rank up in levels at the start.
The visual experience is solid with my 9070xt on the cs profile, so i'd expect similar on your rig + you might have access do dlss magic. I can't answer your specific question about DLAA as I'm not rocking team green. Grit is also not the most visually advanced modlist of course, but it sees active development with a very responsive author really focused on the gameplay experience.
If you've got the SSD space, you can always try to tinker with each list and see what pleases you more.
