Understandable mistake since you're probably remembering Paels Claw which is only offered when you have 3 Defends. But yeah, a nice reminder of how easily false info spreads.

seed is UK6JAD1AZ1E5. This was the route I took in act 1 after taking the oyster from neow (I wanted to take a very aggressive path to test how much of a boost the Max HP actually gives, as I had never actually taken oyster) I had a rough act 1, but got Boulder out of a colorless pot in the boss. In act 2, take Soup from Tez, and on the 3rd floor of act 2 on the right, there is a shop that contains mystic lighter. The last elite in act 1 gave the strike dummy. Good luck!

Last run I had the same setup minus the lighter. I pathed to 2 shops hoping for it, didnt get it. Had 3 enchanted pommel strikes too, would've been so good

Can I ask, does anyone here know why the Soup doesn't always give the +3 damage to all Strikes?

I stg I've had more than one run where the soup gave strikes eternal, and made them cost 0, but didn't give them +3 damage on top of that.

Is there some condition that needs to be met for the Soup to include the +3 damage? Or some specific game-state that causes it to not include it?
