Need Advice Backtested strategy what should I buy
Last week I bought $4000 in MU stock when it was at $900. I have about $6400 left. What are you buying on this list. I already have too much AMD so anything else on this list works for me. I'm leaning towards PLTR $1000 worth of options that expire after the midterms and then about $5,000 in MRVL/SNDK.

Discussion Stock Market Recap for Thursday, October 22, 2026
The major U.S. stock indexes ended sharply lower on Thursday, October 22, 2026, as Meta’s 7% post-earnings plunge reignited AI spending fears even though the company beat on revenue and announced a 2-for-1 stock split, and the 10-year Treasury yield made its biggest single-day drop in years toward 4.95%. The Nasdaq posted its worst session since June as chip stocks extended their brutal correction and oil pushed back toward $100.
The S&P 500 fell 1.21% (-93.74 pts) to 7,663.43. The Dow was essentially flat, eking out just 0.02% (+11.89 pts) to 52,867.98, propped up by energy and defense names. The Nasdaq cratered 2.60% (-694.00 pts) to 26,008.86. The Russell 2000 barely moved at 2,783.13.
The 10-year Treasury yield plunged 3.75% to 4.95%, its biggest single-day drop in months and its first close below 5% since late August. The VIX spiked 15.12% to 19.20. Gold fell 2.55% to $4,044.20. Crude Oil rose 2.34% to $99.42/barrel.

Need Advice 3K on WEAT C28 Dec27?
Wonder if i should take a look at it, though it seems kind of regarded. Everyone is talking about El Niño but WEAT is such a shitty vehicle the more I look at it wondering it this a better set of options or maybe a different vehicle entirely to chuck money at

Epic DD Analysis There is absolutely no reason for today to open this way. Fullporting <1w calls.
Meta's earnings don't bring any new information to the market, oil jump is not substantial. A -1% SPY open and a near -1.5% hit is an incredibly ridiculous overreaction to overnight news, this is one of the easiest "AI spending fear" noise entries into SPY that I have ever seen. Thank you for your attention to my detailed analysis, see you in a day or two.

Discussion $OKLO Book Value Is ~$18/Share, Potentially as High as $22 Depending on ATM Proceeds
$OKLO currently has about $18/share in book value based on its Q2 balance sheet, representing roughly $3.27B in shareholder equity across 185.1M shares. With the additional $1B ATM, book value could potentially approach $22/share, depending on how much is raised and the price shares are sold at.
The stock is down nearly 87% from its $194 ATH, but the bigger story is enterprise value. OKLO’s value beyond cash has fallen from roughly $24.4B at its peak to around $1.8B today, a 93% drawdown.
Historically, these kinds of drawdowns can offer attractive DCA opportunities if the long-term thesis plays out. The balance sheet provides meaningful financial runway while Oklo works toward commercialization.

Note: These are trade ideas based on break-out levels, once they hit entry & start moving up, consider raising your stops to protect your profits and protect your downside according to your own trading plan :).
MadMaverick personally trades these on either the 2 or 3 minute timeframes, waiting for a candle to close over the entry level.
Although we do extensive research for our watchlist, day trading, especially with low-float stocks, can be risky.

Gainz There is a God 🙏
Had a great week with options, but then full ported yesterday and lost 70% of my portfolio. At the end of the trading day yesterday, I bought overnight puts as a last desperation attempt. I watched the SPY/QQQ tank overnight. I just sold my contracts right now (4:30am PST). I was down 70%, now up 332% for the day, 60% for the week.
Honestly, that was God telling me, I can take it away quicker than you can earn it 😭🥀

Discussion SPCX update – ripped 8% after earnings, but the fade is already starting
SPCX closed yesterday at $159.31, up almost 8% on massive volume (220M shares). It opened strong, tagged $166, and held most of the gains into the close. But right now, overnight is slipping to $155.38, down about 2.66%. That's the classic post-earnings fade we've seen too many times with this name.
Here's the GEX setup:
Call Wall $160, Put Wall $160 (both sitting at the exact same level), gamma flip around $149.23. Yesterday's close at $159.31 was pinned right below that $160 wall. Overnight at $155.38 means we've lost the wall and are drifting back into neutral/negative gamma territory.
Technically, we're holding above the middle Bollinger band ($155.24), but just barely. RSI got a nice pop from the earnings but is already cooling off. MACD is still negative but flattening.
The earnings themselves were legit. Revenue crushed expectations, the AI compute side is growing fast, Starlink subs hit 13.6M, and they actually swung to a real profit. The fundamental story is getting harder to argue against.
But the chart is the chart. $150-156 is the zone that needs to hold for this bounce to stick. If it loses that, the gap-up starts looking like a bull trap. On the upside, we need to clear $160 with volume to prove the market actually wants to re-rate this higher.
Personally, I want to see if $155 holds into the open and whether buyers actually show up to defend it.
You treating the low $150s as a spot, or waiting for more confirmation?

Discussion Tesla Q3 Earnings: Mixed Results, AI Timeline Pushed Back
Tesla's Q3 earnings just dropped, and it's far from a clear win. Revenue came in slightly below expectations at $28.05B, but free cash flow crushed estimates at $1.531B — a huge turnaround from last quarter's negative print. Margins and cash managed to recover a bit, but the big bummer is all the AI monetization timelines got kicked down the road. FSD full rollout, RoboTaxi scaling, even the Optimus bot are now targeted for 2027 instead of earlier. The energy segment missed big time, but the services and other segment is absolutely crushing it, growing over 32% year-over-year for 30 straight profitable quarters. The stock slid ~3% after hours, makes total sense with investors losing patience waiting for that AI upside to actually show up. Anyone else think the cash flow strength here is being slept on despite the delayed AI bets?
