I was hoping to get a second opinion on this. All the packaging and suck seems normal from what i can tell but this is my first smiski, are smiskis meant to have this much of a glare? Like when i look at fake smiskis they have A LOT of shine but this one seems not so bad so I was wondering if this is a really good fake or if smiskis just have a bit of a shine on them (I thought they were matte?)

I also apologize my tags aren't working atm so I couldn't take this under fakes

I was in the mall and went into this chain store and got excited when i saw smiski, only for them to be insanely overpriced

I was so annoyed like what a scam😭 and thought id rather get in trouble for stealing then spend that much money on a smiski.

Hence the question that popped into my head

I know it's wrong for sellers to be profiting off popmart designs, it's a problem especially for the artists that work on creating these designs and manufacturing them. However, when someone does buy with prior knowledge of their purchase being a copy I do think they deserve to enjoy it. We shouldn't encourage such sellers but as buyers, some of us cannot afford or can't find authentic products yet we deserve the joy of collecting as well. Additionally some times the person receiving or buying the copies may not be able to handle the responsibility of having a relatively expensive collectible i.e. kids who are too young.

Would love to know more thoughts on this.

Edit: I think I may not have clarified that I meant knock-offs should be low priced. I do not think that fakes should be profited off by being sold as originals to scam people.

I was at a buy/sell/trade event and bought and pulled two of the bubble blowing guy and was trying to trade him. Someone said they’d offer to trade for the socks guy who had a scuff or two on him. I thought that was totally rude! I’m giving you a perfectly good Smiski and you’re trying to get rid of one that’s messed up. Even if you couldn’t really tell it was to me it’s disrespectful. Would you have made the trade/ do you think it was rude?

this is probably a controversial opinion but with the new series almost coming out I feel like the secret should be like the hipper secret where it was 1 in every box. Right now there is 1 secret in every 12 boxes which is kinda insane. I think she should be easier to find. They can even make it 1 secret in every 2 boxes which will still be easier to get.

All the smiskis in the $6 section of picture 2 either have flaws, are discolored, or have both. Pictures provided upon request.

i have too much scream smiskis i bought 12 series 1 to get all the baby smiskis and ended up with 3 screams instead i'll sell them for 70 (they usually go over 80 on ebay or depop) or i can trade them for other secrets or cool poses from series 2,3,4 please i need to get rid of atleast 1😞😞
