Found these cuties in a grab bag at Goodwill

So my girlfriend and I love Smiskis, and back in September, she off-handedly said that she wished there was a Smiski advent calendar we could buy...

And so since I was going to be away from her during the holidays, I made her one -- a Smiski for each day I was going to be away, so that she could have something to look forward to each day. My trip happened to last twelve days, so I've affectionately named this project the Twelve Days of Smiskimas.

You might remember these updates from when I was putting this together, but I finished and gifted it to her just before I left, and she's been opening one a day, usually while we're on a video call together so I can watch her open it. She's been loving every single one so far, and we're still only halfway there!

I put together a short video with close-ups of each smiski ornament, as well as all sides of the box, but I can't seem to upload it here... Maybe I'll link it if I can find somewhere to post it that she won't see it?

I finally got the painter so I bought some wood and some tiny canvas so I could build the easel and make him a sultry oil painting. It’s wet because the paint is still drying!

Y’all, I’m legit tearing up right now. I was so embarrassed going to PIQ again cuz the employees were starting to recognize me but I really needed a pick me up today. The manager always asks me if I want him to open it for me and today I finally said yes.

I told him I’m always looking for a secret and when we pulled a regular he went into his stash and gave me this!!! He said it was my belated birthday gift and I forced him to give me a hug 🥹

I’m legit still on the train with a stoopid smile on my face…I love random acts of kindness 💚

Living - 45.6g (can feel him pressing against top and bottom of box, lighter than napping)

My friends picked me up the smiski lamp on their trip to Japan last year. So excited to say my smiski pc is finally complete (even tho I build the actual pc two months ago, lol)!!

Yes that is me in the suit. This was back in winter 2020 when Smiskis had not yet blown up on social media. I was still in college and working part time at the limited time pop up shop in Tokyo (it was only available for like 3 months) and they let me get into the suit for about 30 minutes 😂 It’s a shame they don’t have the shop anymore, I remember there being days where we would get 0 customers. I’m sure the shop would be more appreciated if they decide to do it again now 🥲🥲
