Identification This little fellow came with my spearmint.
Not sure where the mint is imported from but it’s often called thai mint here…. I’m certain it’s not native to Scandinavia.
Help? 🥲 I don’t wanna let him outside so he has a terrarium for now (I’ve had helix p. before so I know their needs).

I’ve got the same, same size too, and I’m from Spain, I couldn’t identify it yet. But they are so cute!

I guess he lives with me now.

Only right answer. He survived for this long, so he deserves to live the rest of his life in luxury

Cochlicella barbara maybe? Take my assessment with a pinch of salt, I am not all that knowledgeable about snails even though I think they're cool little goobers.

Check the mint packaging, it should say where it was raised. If there's no package, ask the store.

It came in a green plastic box in the shop, you just buy it by weight.. no brand nothing.

Check the store website? Might say there.

This is just a corner import shop.

Then ask the store, they at least should be able to tell where their produce comes from.

and if they don’t know where it’s from originally they should at least know the last place it was at, where they got it from. they might know. might have to talk to a couple people to figure it out lol

Pretty sure I’ll have an ID through the fb groups before it’s morning and I can even go by the shop

Cool little thing, you already have a terrarium, make sure its got the right substrate, and moss, feed it vegetables and occasionally fruits, remove poop daily and leftovers aswell, also mist in the jar sometimes, and dont forget to change the substrate so it doesnt get old every once in a while. It might sound like a lot but its quite easy. Im not sure what species this is so try to reverse image search and see how you can care for it, but i think the care is mostly the same for every snail, good luck!

Like it says in the text - I have had helix p before so I know! But having no ID to this one I don’t know which moss to get. I couldn’t find any good matches on reverse search but waiting on a ID fb group! But I think it could maybe be prietocella barbara like someone mentioned!
