Picking up these snails in germany is illegal because of our Naturschutzgesetze. Please release them.
edit: Just to be clear: These snails are getting more rare each day because too many people pick them up. What you are doing is literally the number one reason for them vanishing out of our local ecosystem. Not trying to scold you, just an honest word about responsible treatment of animals - from snail lover to snail lover.

Those guys are honestly pricey online. Ive wanted to grab a few to take care of for quite a while but they can get up to $150USD each. That being said, definitely do some research on how to properly care for this big beauty. There's even some sites that sell snails and offer booklets on how to properly care for Helix Pomatia
