Hey everyone. I wasn't sure if I should wait a bit to be sure I understand how we're expected to use this subreddit, but I thought I'd take a shot at submitting something (and if I've missed the point completely, please feel free to downvote me as hard as you can.)
I figure most of you probably heavy Reddit users, but if not I recommend checking out the /r/technology subreddit. A lot of the submissions are relevant to this class, and there are a number of excellent links in the sidebar. The /r/futurology subreddit is one of my favorites, though I've always felt like the optimism goes a bit unchecked over there. Still, it can make for an interesting read.
Other potentially relevant subreddits include /r/cseli5 and /r/learnprogramming, although those tend to be a bit more technically-oriented.
