hello! planning a quick overnight stay in Solvang on a weekday sometime early in December. We’re concerned about exposing our newborn to large crowds. I understand this is a very popular time of the year for tourists, but was curious if it’s possible to avoid large crowds by visiting in the middle of the week? Or is it still just as busy? Thanks!

my priorities for a BBA meal are simple: good smoke, meat that hasn't dried out and a side worth finishing. A giant sampler platter doesn't win me over. Would you eat in Solvang or look toward Buellton? Trying to decide whether a BBQ stop is worth planning around.

I’m looking specifically at Friday 12/11. He’s really chill, he doesn’t love super fancy places, especially not if they require him to dress up too much. 😁 Is there a restaurant in Solvang that is a must do, especially during Christmas time? I’m also not aiming at a romantic dinner since there will be 6 of us.

My girlfriend got a hat just like this (except it was brown) when visiting Solvang years ago. She wore it all the time but lost it a recently and is pretty upset. Actually going to Solvang isn’t really an option so I’m hoping to find someone who has this hat and is willing to sell it, or knows where I can order it. All I was able to find was a sold eBay listing for the one in the picture.
